[cze][eng] Tato diplomová práce je zaměřená na case management a sociální práci s osamělými rodiči. Jejím cílem je zjistit využívání metody case management (popřípadě jejích prvků) při práci s osamělými rodiči. Pro získání odpovědí byly stanoveny následující výzkumné otázky: "Jakým způsobem je v praxi realizována metoda Case managementu v rámci služeb spolupracujících s osamělými rodiči?", "V čem je využívání této metody (popř. jejích prvků) v práci s osamělými rodiči přínosné?" a "Co brání využívání case managementu při práci s osamělými rodiči?" Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou neboli výzkumnou. Část teoretická definuje význam a historii rodiny, osamělého rodičovství, jeho potřeb i forem. Druhá část teorie je zaměřena na význam a obsah case managementu, jeho historii, rozdělení i využívání. Pro praktickou část byla v rámci kvalitativního výzkumu vybrána metoda dotazování, technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Rozhovorů bylo provedeno celkem 15 a byly uskutečněny se sociálními pracovníky organizací pracujících s rodinami, osamělými rodiči ve Středočeském kraji, event. přímo u pozice case managera v rámci České republiky. Závěrem lze shrnout výsledky výzkumu a na výzkumnou otázku "Jakým způsobem je v praxi realizována metoda Case managementu v rámci služeb spolupracujících s osamělými rodiči" lze na základě rozhovorů s komunikačními partnery odpovědět tak, že metoda case managementu není stále všeobecně známá a pracovní pozice case managera v rámci služeb pracujících s rodinami a osamělými rodiči není obvyklá. Ti pracovníci, kteří metodu znají, jí využívají nejčastěji při vyhodnocování a mapování situace klienta, při koordinaci podpory a při případových konferencích. Profit vidí pracovníci ale i na straně klienta, který může využívat individuální přístup a pomoc "ušitou na míru", má podle nich také možnost volby pomoci a podporuje se v převzetí zodpovědnosti za svůj život, čímž se mimo jiné omezuje vznik závislosti klienta na podpoře nebo pracovníkovi. K výzkumné Otázce 2-V čem je využívání této metody (popř. jejích prvků) v práci s osamělými rodiči přínosné? Z výpovědí pracovníků vyplývá, že Ti pracovníci, kteří jsou s metodu seznámeni, jí vnímají pro svou práci jako přínosnou, a to hned z několika důvodů. Jedním z hlavních důvodů je snížení zátěže rozhodování o postupu v řešení klientovy situace, neboť řešení situace se hledá za aktivního přispění klienta a spolupracujících organizací. S tím souvisí další přínos vnímaný komunikačními partnery a sice snížení rizika pochybení. Dalším přínosem je podle komunikačních partnerů navazování blízké spolupráce s podpůrnými institucemi v regionu a vytváření podpůrné sítě. Komunikační partneři vnímají jako bonus i pocit smysluplnější práce s větším a dlouhodobějším efektem na straně klienta. Z odpovědí komunikačních partnerů na Otázku 3 - Co brání využívání case managementu při práci s osamělými rodiči? vyplynulo, že rozšíření case managementu brání nedostatek času na individuální práci s klientem způsobený přemírou jiné práce a nedostatek poznatků a informací o možnostech využití a přínosech. This thesis focuses on case management and social work with single parents. Its aim is to describe the utilization of the case management method (or its elements) in working with single parents. To obtain answers, the following research questions were formulated: "How is the Case management method practically implemented within services collaborating with single parents?", "What are the benefits of using this method (or its elements) in working with single parents?", and "What barriers exist to the utilization of case management in working with single parents?" The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical, or research, parts. The theoretical part defines the significance and history of family, single parenthood, its needs, and forms. In the second part of the theory, I focus on the significance and content of case management, its history, classification, and utilization. For the practical part, the method of interviewing was selected as part of qualitative research, using a semi-structured interview technique. A total of 15 interviews were conducted with professionals from organizations working with families, single parents in the Central Bohemian Region, or directly in the position of a case manager within the Czech Republic. In conclusion, the results of the research can be summarized and the research question "How is the case management method implemented in practice within the services cooperating with single parents" can be answered based on interviews with communication partners in such a way that the case management method is still not widely known and the job position of a case manager it is not common in services working with families and single parents. Those workers who know the method use it most often when evaluating and mapping the client's situation, when coordinating support and during case conferences. The workers see profit, but also on the client's side, who can use an individual approach and "tailor-made" help, according to them, he also has the option of choosing help and is supported in taking responsibility for his life, which, among other things, limits the emergence of the client's dependence on support or worker. Regarding Research Question 2 - How is the use of this method (or its elements) beneficial in working with single parents? It follows from the statements of the workers that those workers who are familiar with the method perceive it as beneficial for their work, for several reasons. One of the main reasons is to reduce the burden of deciding on the procedure for solving the client's situation, since the solution to the situation is sought with the active contribution of the client and collaborating organizations. This is related to another benefit perceived by communication partners, namely the reduction of the risk of errors. Another benefit, according to communication partners, is the establishment of close cooperation with support institutions in the region and the creation of a support network. Communication partners also perceive the feeling of more meaningful work with a greater and longer-term effect on the client's side as a bonus. From the communication partners' answers to Question 3 - What prevents the use of case management when working with single parents? it turned out that the expansion of case management is hindered by a lack of time for individual work with the client caused by an excess of other work and a lack of knowledge and information about the possibilities of use and benefits.
