Celospolečenská a státní perspektiva u pacientů se syndromem Dravetové a Lennox-Gastautovým syndromem Autor: Martina Krejčová Vedoucí diplomové práce: PharmDr. Jiří Klimeš, Ph.D. Konzultant: PharmDr. David Suchánek Katedra sociální a klinické farmacie, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové, Univerzita Karlova Úvod a cíl: Syndrom Dravetové (DS) a Lennox-Gastautův syndrom (LGS) jsou vzácná epileptická onemocnění. Ke snížení frekvence záchvatů u těchto onemocnění je indikován léčivý přípravek pro vzácná onemocnění (LPVO) Epidyolex (kanabidiol). Cílem práce je podat ucelený přehled o legislativě související s LPVO a možnostech jejich úhrady ze zdravotního pojištění a stanovit náklady na DS a LGS z celospolečenské a státní perspektivy. Metodika: Data pro analýzu nákladů jsou získána na základě dotazníkového šetření sledující čerpání sociálních dávek, zvýšení nákladů domácností a ztrátu produktivity pacienta a pečovatele. Respondenti jsou kontaktováni skrze pacientské organizace a specializovaná centra. Náklady z obou perspektiv jsou stanoveny součtem nákladů z pohledu zdravotní pojišťovny a nákladů na ztrátu produktivity (celospolečenská perspektiva), nebo nákladů systému sociálního zabezpečení (státní perspektiva). The orphan drug Epidyolex is indicated to reduce the frequency of seizures in these diseases. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive overview of orphan drug legislation and the potential of its reimbursement from health insurance and determine the costs of DS and LGS from a societal and governmental perspective. Methods: The data for the analysis is obtained from the questionnaire focused on the social benefit drawdown, increase in household costs, and loss of productivity of patients and their caregivers. Respondents are recruited in a cooperation with patient organisations and specialised centres. The costs from both perspectives are determined by adding the expenses of the health insurance company and the costs of lost productivity (societal perspective), or the costs to the social security system (governmental perspective).
