Sociální mobilita příslušníků elitních vrstev ve 2. polovině 19. století Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sociální mobilitou vyšších státních úředníků ve velmi dynamickém období z hlediska vývoje politické správy v zemích Koruny české, a to ve druhé polovině 19. a počátku 20. století. Cílem práce bylo analyzovat a popsat proměnu struktury úředníků dle jejich sociálního původu, statisticky určit významné faktory, které měly vliv na věk úředníka při prvním nástupu do funkce okresního hejtmana a určit, zda během studovaného období dochází k prodlužování tohoto věku. Analýza probíhala na základě dat výzkumné databáze projektu EXPRO 2020. Výsledky ukazují, že úředníci s vlivným sociálním původem měli téměř dvakrát takovou pravděpodobnost, že se stanou okresními hejtmany v mladším věku než úředníci pocházející z nižší sociální třídy. V závěru jsou formulovány hlavní výsledky práce, které vedle výše uvedeného diskutují, jaký měl na sociální mobilitu úředníka vliv sňatek s manželkou z vlivného prostředí nebo jak dlouho trvalo úředníkovi po úspěšném absolvování univerzity vyšplhat se po kariérním žebříčku až do funkce okresního hejtmana a jaké faktory mohly tuto cestu mezi univerzitou a úřadem významně urychlit. Social mobility of elites in the second half of the 19th century Abstract This thesis deals with the social mobility of senior civil servants in a very dynamic period in terms of the development of political administration in the lands of the Bohemian Crown, namely in the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and describe the change in the structure of civil servants according to their social origin, to statistically determine the significant factors that influenced the age of a civil servant when he or she first took up the post of district captain and to determine whether this age was prolonged during the period under study. The analysis was conducted using data from the EXPRO 2020 research database. The results show that officials with influential social backgrounds were almost twice as likely to become district governors at a younger age than officials from lower social class backgrounds. The main results of the paper are formulated in the conclusion, which in addition to the above, discusses what effect marrying a wife from an influential background had on an official's social mobility, or how long it took an official to climb the career ladder to become a district captain after successfully graduating from university, and what factors may...
