eng Abstract:
[eng][cze] The goal of this thesis is to analyze the relationship of Great Britain and Germany in the 1930s. It concerns itself with the political development in Britain between the world wars while focusing on the policy of appeasement, its roots, and its most famous exponent, Neville Chamberlain. The thesis also hopes to explain why both the Prime Minister and his policy failed. In its conclusion the thesis argues in defense of appeasement as well as in defense of Neville Chamberlain.
