Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodocení a analýzu moderních trendů v hotelnictví a gastronomii v Jihočeském kraji. Teoretická část práce informuje čtenáře o vývoji moderních trendů a vysvětluje odbornou terminologii, která se vztahuje k danému tématu. Praktická část čerpá informace z provedeného marketingového výzkumu. Další průzkum trhu byl proveden na základě anonymní kontroly, kdy autorka diplomové práce jako fiktivní host "Mystery Guest" navštívila stravovací zařízení, kde prověřovala kvalitu poskytovaných služeb z pohledu hosta. Podstatná část informací byla získána na základně expertních rozhovorů se specialisty v oboru. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce bylo nalézt slabé stránky, překážky rozvoje a stanovit "TOP 10" gastronomických a "Top 10" ubytovacích zařízení v jižních Čechách. Výsledkem práce je návrh vhodných opatření k odstranění nedostatků a přispění k budoucímu rozvoji tohoto turistického regionu. This thesis is aimed at assessing and analyzing modern trends in hotelery and gastronomy in the region of South Bohemia. The theoretical part gives the reader information about the development of modern trends and explains the technical terminology, which relates to the topic. The practical part draws on information from actual marketing research. Another research project, conducted through anonymous inspections, where a "Mystery Guest" (the author of the thesis) assessed the quality of provided hospitality services from the point of view of a guest. The essential information was gained through opinions of tourism experts. The primary goal is to discover barriers to the growth as well as weaknesses and to determinate a "TOP 10" for gastronomical and a "TOP 10" for accommodation facilities in South Bohemia. The outcome of this thesis is a proposal for appropriate measures to eliminate shortcomings and to contribute to future development of this tourism region.
