My bachelor thesis deals with the problem of new poverty. Firstly I try to analyze and describe this social problem of contemporary (postmodern) society in general. I then proceed to raise a hypothetical question whether there is a correlation between the described theory and real life - the real life (practical part) is represented by users of homeless shelter named Speramus which is located in Liberec. Finally I answer the hypothetical question, which is the goal of my bachelor thesis too. V jej skúmanej kategorizácii práca teoreticky pojednáva o sociálnych javoch dnešnej postmodernej spoločnosti. Následne osvetlená vnútorná typologická štruktúra, sociálne javy novej chudoby vyjavujúce sociálnu realitu spoločnosti na základe položeného problému, hypotézy a otázky, sa pokúša byť odpoveďou, či existuje súvzťažnosť a korelovanosť medzi svojim teoretizovaním a jak skutočným stavom spoločnosti a ľudstva, tak skutočne žitým životom občanov, klientov Azylového domu Speramus v Libereckom kraji, v meste Liberec.
