Cílem mé bakalářské práce je detailně přiblížit proces rozšiřování Evropské unie o nové členské státy z hlediska použití právních, ale i finančních nástrojů. Dále ve své práci představuji všechny kandidátské země, stejně tak i potenciální kandidátské země. Má práce je rozdělena do šesti hlavních kapitol, které jsou nadále členěny do menších podkapitol. První kapitola pojednává vzniku a o rozšiřování Evropských společenství v minulosti. Druhá část je věnována procesu rozšiřování obecně, tedy jak se kandidátský stát stává členskou zemí a jaké podmínky v tomto procesu musí splnit. Ve třetí kapitole se zaměřuji na předvstupní právní a politické nástroje užívané Evropskou unií (EU) k podpoře kandidátského státu. Dále se věnuji finanční předvstupní pomoci, kterou EU umožňuje kandidátským a potenciálním kandidátským zemím uskutečnit kroky k přiblížení se k EU. V páté kapitole se věnuji kandidátským zemým a v závěrečné šesté kapitole popisuji potenciální kandidátské země. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to present the process of enlargement of the European Union with a view to the pre-accession instruments used to help the associated country to enter the union, as well as to present these associated countries so called candidate and potential candidate countries. My thesis is divided into six chapters. The first one describes briefly the history of expansion of the European Communities and the European Union. The second one is about the enlargement process in general. The two following chapters depict the pre-accession instruments {--} political, juridical and financial used to support the efforts of the associated countries. Finally the last two chapters present in detail the candidate and the potential candidate countries.
