V léčbě závislostí se neustále setkáváme s názorem, že terapie má být tvrdá, a to i přesto, že evidentně ne každému takový přístup prospívá. Odkud vlastně tento postoj rozšířený mezi odborníky pramení? Žádný postup léčby nelze považovat za univerzálně vhodný pro každého a ne každý, kdo projde rukama terapeuta se skálovským přístupem po léčbě dokáže abstinovat a hlavně plnohodnotně žít. V pobytové léčbě se obvykle setkáváme s využitím specifických pravidel, označovaných jako kardinální. Porušení některého z těchto pravidel je obecně vnímáno jako neslučitelné se setrváním pacienta/klienta v léčbě. Právě problematika přístupu k dodržování kardinálních pravidel a způsobu jejich prosazování terapeuty je tedy v této práci klíčová. Cílem této práce je popsat, jak některá z těchto kontroverzních témat vnímají odborníci a odkrýt, odkud zmíněné postoje vůči tvrdému přístupu v léčbě pramení. Metodologie bakalářské práce sestává z využití semistrukturovaných rozhovorů a analýzy materiálu za pomoci technik kódování, barvení textu a segmentace umožňujících konečný rozbor a vyhodnocení výzkumných poznatků. Výzkumný vzorek byl sestaven výběrem šesti terapeutů. Všichni tito odborníci pracují v přímém kontaktu s klienty, z toho tři z nich působí v anonymních terapeutických komunitách (TK), a tři další v anonymní... In the therapy of addiction we constantly come across the opinion that the therapy should be tough, even though such an approach is obviously not suitable for everyone. Where does this general idea among proffessionals come from then? No single treatment is appropriate for everyone and not all the patients/clients are able to continue to abstain or even lead a fully-fledged life after completing their therapy. In the residential rehabilitation we usually encounter the usage of a specific set of rules, called cardinal. Violation of these rules is generally perceived as incompatible with patient's remaining in the rehab. Therefore the matter of approach towards adhering to the cardinal rules and their enforcement by a therapist remains a key in this research. The core issue of the thesis is to describe and discuss how proffessionals in the field perceive some of these controversial topics and to reveal the origin and causation of their attitude towards the "tough approach" in therapy. The methodology used in the thesis consist in the following: semi - structured interviews, survey set analysis using interpretive techniques such as data coding, colour coding, segmentation, and finally analysis of survey results.
