Abstract: This article deals with a possible replacement of HDO (Bulk Remote Reading), fromthe distributor’s point of view and the customer’s point of view. A measurement, which simulatescommunication was performed from the smart meter to the end device (photo-voltaic panels, chargingstation for an electric car). The simulated measurement was divided into five scenarios, which arediscussed at the end.
