Úvod do problematiky: Počet pacientů závislých na dlouhodobé umělé plicní ventilaci stále přibývá (Chau et al., 2017). Po stabilizaci stavu dítěte je možné, aby tito pacienti byli propuštěni do domácího ošetřování a převedeni na domácí ventilátor. Aby tito pacienti mohli fungovat v domácím prostředí, je důležité správně proškolit rodinné příslušníky či jiné pečující (Borought a Dougherty, 2016). Cíl práce: Cílem výzkumné práce bylo zjistit, jak probíhala edukace na oddělení intenzivní péče, dále získat názor pečujících na kvalitu celého edukačního procesu, a nakonec představit problémy, se kterými se rodinní pečující v domácím prostředí nejčastěji setkávají. Metodologie: Výzkum probíhal na základě kvalitativní studie. Sběr dat byl realizován pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s rodinnými příslušníky, kteří pečují o pacienty na domácí plicní ventilaci. Výzkumného šetření se zúčastnilo celkem 9 respondentů. Analýza dat proběhla pomocí otevřeného kódování s následnou kategorizací a podkategorizací. Výsledky: Ve výzkumném šetření byly zjištěny důležité aspekty týkající se problematiky edukace rodinných příslušníků. Na základě výsledků z rozhovorů jsme zjistili, že pečující vnímají proces zaškolení velmi pozitivně, nicméně problémy se kterými se setkali, byly například v nedostatku času personálu při... Introduction: The number of patients dependent on prolonged mechanical ventilation is still increasing (Chau et al., 2017). Once the child's condition is stabilized, it is possible for him to be discharged to home care and transferred to a home mechanical ventilator. The care of this patients is very difficult, therefore, it is important to prepare family caregivers on all necessary care (Borought a Dougherty, 2016). The aim of thesis: The aim of this thesis was to find out what is included in the educational process in intensive care unit. Secondarily, to get opinion of caregivers on the quality of the education process and finally to present problems, that family caregivers face at home. Methodology: The research was based on the qualitative study. Data collection was conducted by semi-structured interviews with family caregivers, who take care of children on home mechanical ventilation. A total of 9 respondents participated in the research survey. Data analysis was performed in open coding steps followed by categorization and subcategorizations.
