V biometrii využíváme fyzických znaků k identifikaci a verifikaci osob. Mezi nejznámější techniku patří rozpoznávání fyzické identity pomocí otisků prstů. Tato technika využívá jedinečných struktur, které vytváří papilární linie, pro jasné určení identity vlastníka otisku. Práce obsahuje souhrn metod, jež se během let vytvořily pro analýzu a zpracování otisků. V praktické části je popsán vytvořený algoritmus pro hledání shody otisků využívající metodu dvou párů a výpočtu transformační matice pro správné zarovnání otisků. Algoritmus je testován na vytvořené databázi obsahující otisky z databází LivDet. Úspěšnost hledání shody je pak vyjádřena hodnotou EER a tato hodnota je porovnána s dalšími algoritmy ze soutěže FVC 2006. In biometrics we use distinctive physical features for identification and verification of identity. The most famous technique is identification by fingerprints. This technique use unique structure created by papillary lines for unambiguous identification. Thesis contains methods which were created throughout the years for analysis and adjustments of fingerprint. The algorithm is based on compairng two pairs of minitua and calculating transform matrix for correct alignment. Algorithm is tested on dataset created from LivDet databases. Performance of algorithm is represented by value EER which is compared with EERs of other algorithms tested in FVC 2006.
