Výsledky mezilaboratorních experimentů ukazují, že dosažení a udržení požadované kvality výsledků v chemických a klinických laboratořích je komplexní problém, kterému je stále nutno věnovat pozornost. Analytical laboratories are nowadays forced to apply quality assurance procedures such as method validation, quality control, metrological traceability, evaluation of measurement uncertainty under systematic quality management to have quality of their measurement results under control.
