Teoretická část této práce je zaměřená na charakteristiku, účinky a využití éterických olejů. Zároveň jsou popsány metody vhodné pro izolaci éterických olejů z rostlinných materiálů, možnosti identifikace a metody vhodné pro posouzení jejich kvality. V experimentální části byl připraven éterický olej z rostliny rýmovníku (Plectranthus amboinicus) a máty peprné (Mentha piperita). Pro izolaci byly použity metody ethanolová extrakce a automatická extrakce hexanem pomocí přístroje Gerhardt Soxtherm. Látky obsažené v silici z rýmovníku a máty byly analyzovány pomocí plynového chromatografu s hmotnostním detektorem. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké potenciálně alergenní látky jsou obsaženy v silicích. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is focused on the characteristics, effects and use of essential oils. There are also described methods for isolating essential oils from plant materials, identification options methods suitable for assessing their quality. Within the experimental part essential oils of the Plectranthus amboinicus and Mentha piperita were prepared. Ethanol extraction and automatic hexane extraction using Gerhardt Soxtherm instrument were used for the isolation. The substances occurring in the essential oils made of Plectranthus amboinicus and Mentha piperita were analysed using a gas chromatograph with a mass detector. The aim of this thesis was to find out what potentially allergenic substances are contained in essential oils.
