Tématem bakalářské práce je zmapování budování a vývoje vybraných památníků v letech 1945-2015 na našem území, které se dodnes dochovaly nebo se nově budují. V práci je na památníky nahlíženo jako na místa paměti, která zprostředkovávají pohled do minulosti širší společnosti. Tento pohled ale není statický a tzv. druhý život míst paměti bývá dynamický v souvislosti s politickými i celospolečenskými změnami. The bachelor's thesis' topic deals with building process and development of selected memorials between 1945-2015 in Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic, that are preserved until nowadays or they are built newly. In this thesis are memorials seen as places of memory, that mediates historical point of views of wider society. This view is not static and "afterlife" of places of memory is dynamic according to political and social changes.
