Bakalářská práce se věnuje jubilejnímu desátému výročí od založení Československé republiky a tomu, jaký význam této události přikládaly dobové noviny a potažmo také tehdejší společnost. Práce analyzuje čtyři stranické i nezávislé deníky (Lidové noviny, Národní politika, Venkov a Právo lidu) a porovnává, jak se jednotlivé tituly názorově stavěly k prvnímu desetiletí republiky a jaký význam kladly na oslavy jubilea. Práce se skládá ze dvou pomyslných částí. První z nich obsahuje popis politického vývoje prvního desetiletí fungování republiky, a pro lepší pochopení historického kontextu připomíná také nejdůležitější milníky ustanovení a následného formování ČSR. Kromě toho se práce také snaží přiblížit podobu mediální situace během první republiky. Ve druhé části práce přibližuje konkrétní deníky a analyzuje články a zmínky o oslavách jubilea v období od 20. října do 4. listopadu 1928. Na závěr práce obsahuje komparaci získaných výsledků, která porovnává, jaký význam měly oslavy pro jednotlivé redakce, v jaké souvislosti o nich psaly a zda se názory analyzovaných novin lišily. The bachelor thesis deals with the jubilee tenth anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic and the importance of this event for conteporary press and society. The thesis analyzes four both party and independent newspapers (Lidové noviny, Národní politika, Venkov and Právo lidu) and compares what were their thoughts about the first decade of the republic and how important were the jubilee celebrations for them. The work consists of two parts. The first one contains a description of political development of the first decade of republic and for a better understanding of the historical context it also recalls the most important milestones of formation and functioning of Czechoslovakia. In addition, the work also tries to outline the media situation during the First Republic. In the second part, thesis describes concrete newspapers and analyzes articles and mentions of the jubilee celebrations in the period from 20 October to 4 November 1928. At the end of the thesis there is a comparison of the obtained results, which compares the importance of the celebrations for individual editors, and whether the opinions of the newspapers differed.
