Bakalářská práce se zabývá vnímáním problematiky šikany seniory v domovech pro seniory. Hlavním cílem a snahou je pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu prokázat, zda se šikana projevuje. Text práce je rozdělen na dvě na sebe navazující časti, tj. teoretická a praktická část. Teoretická část popisuje pomocí odborné literatury jednotlivé kapitoly, jako je stáří, násilí páchané na seniorech, šikana a sociální služby pro seniory. Teoretická část se snaží spojit jednotlivé kapitoly a dovést čtenáře k poznatku, že šikana je závažnou problematikou, která se nevyhýbá ani seniorům v zařízeních sociálních služeb. Praktická část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na zodpovězení hlavní a dílčích výzkumných otázek. Pro výzkum byla zvolena kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, která byla realizována metodou dotazování s technikou polostandardizovaného rozhovoru. Nasbíraná data byla analyzována pomocí otevřeného kódování. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 10 komunikačních partnerů ve vybraných zařízeních sociálních služeb. Na základě získaných informací bylo zjištěno, že komunikační partneři se během svého života s problematikou šikany setkali. Srovnáním dvou zařízení sociálních služeb vyplynulo, že jsou rozdíly ve vnímání šikany. Na malebné vesnici ač překvapivě o šikaně komunikační partneři uvedli mnohem více informací a zkušeností. Komunikační partneři zmínili několik návrhů na řešení šikany. Znalost preventivních opatření ze získaných informací vyplynulo, že je částečná. Výsledky bakalářské práce mohou sloužit pracovníkům v sociálních tak i zdravotních službách, poskytnout přehled o výskytu šikany mezi seniory. The bachelor thesis deals with the perception of the problem of bullying in retirement homes. The main goal and effort is to prove whether bullying is manifesting by using of a qualitative research. The text of the thesis is divided into two consecutive parts i.e. the theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part describes individual chapters by using reference books, such as the old age, the violence against seniors, bullying and social services for seniors. The theoretical part attempts to link individual chapters and leads the readers to a piece of knowledge that bullying is a serious issue that doesn´t avoid even seniors in social service facilities. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on answering the main and partial research questions. Qualitative research strategy has been chosen for it. It was implemented by the questioning using the semi-standardized interview technique. The collected data have been analysed using open encoding. The research file has been consisted of 10 communication partners in selected social services facilities. On the basis of obtained information, it was found that communication partners have met bullying during their lifetime. Comparing two social services facilities led to a finding that there were differences in perception of bullying. It was surprising that communication partners from a picturesque village stated more information and experience with bullying. They also mentioned a few ideas how to solve bullying. The research results show that the knowledge of preventive measures is partial. The results of this bachelor thesis can be used by both social and health workers to provide an overview of the incidence of bullying among seniors.
