Tématem bakalářské práce je vzájemný pohled Turecka a vybraných arabských zemí - Egypta, Sýrie, Saúdské Arábie a Spojených arabských emirátů - od července 2016 do dubna 2017. Zvolené období rámují dvě významné události v Turecku - pokus o převrat v červenci 2016 a referendum o změně ústavy v dubnu 2017. Práce bude vycházet ze stručného přehledu zahraniční politiky Turecka (ve vztahu k vnitropolitickému vývoji po nástupu AKP) a jednotlivých arabských zemí, zvláště po tzv. Arabském jaru. Cílem práce je sledovat rozdíly mezi postojem jednotlivých arabských zemí k Turecku a zkoumat, zda a jak se turecký pohled na jednotlivé arabské země liší. Téma bude zpracováno na základě tureckých a arabských novin vydávaných v angličtině (Al-Ahram, SANA, The National, Arab News, Daily Sabah) za použití metody mediální analýzy. Theme of this bachelor thesis is mutual perspective of Turkey and selected Arab countries - Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Selected time period is designated by two major events in Turkey - attempted military coup in July 2016 and referendum on constitution changes in April 2017. Thesis is based on brief overview of Turkey's foreign policy (in relation to domestic political development after APK's rise to power) and individual selected Arabic counties, especially after events of so called Arab Spring. The goal of the thesis is to observe disparities in policy stance of individual Arab states to Turkey and investigate if and how Turkey's attitude to mentioned Arab states differs. Thesis is based on media analysis of selected English written Turkish and Arabic press (Al-Ahram, SANA, The National, Arab News, Daily Sabah).
