1 Abstrakt Diplomová práce pojednává o postavení sociální práce v agendě dávek pomoci v hmotné nouzi. V teoretické části se zabývám organizační strukturou Úřadu práce ČR a zastavuji se i u tématu, k jakým změnám došlo v rámci sociální reformy v roce 2012. Dále se věnuji vymezením pojmu hmotná nouze, vymezuji zde jednotlivé typy dávek a v neposlední řadě se věnuji vymezení teoretického rámce sociální práce v agendě dávek pomoci v hmotné nouzi. V praktické části se věnuji zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky "Jak vnímají současné postavení sociální práce sociální pracovníci oddělení pomoci v hmotné nouzi ÚP ČR, v rámci výkonu agendy dávek pomoci v hmotné nouzi." Výzkumná část pomoci kvantitativní metody šetření zjišťuje, jak sociální pracovníci nahlížejí na postavení sociální práce v rámci agendy dávek pomoci v hmotné nouzi. Z výzkumného šetření vyplývá, že sociální pracovníci by rádi využívali metody sociální práce v rámci agendy dávek pomoci v hmotné nouzi, ale jsou limitovány podmínkami, které panují na jejich oddělení. Personální poddimenzování ovlivňuje celkové postavení sociální práce na ÚP ČR. The diploma thesis deals with the status of social work on the agenda of assistance in material need. In the theoretical part I deal with the organizational structure of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic and I deal with the theme of the changes in the social reform in 2012. Next, I deal with the definition of the concept of material emergency, I define individual types of benefits here and I recently deal with the definition of the theoretical framework of social work the agenda of assistance in material need. In the practical part I deal with the main research questions "How do the social workers of the Department of Assistance in the Material Need of the PA of the Czech Republic in the exercise of the agenda of assistance in material need perceive the current status of social work?". The research part helps quantitative methods explore how social workers look at the status of social work within the agenda of assistance in material need. The research shows that social workers use social work methods within the framework of the aid agenda in material need, but are limited by the conditions prevailing in their wards. Personnel undersizing affects the overall position of social work in the Czech Labor Office.
