Práce se zaměřuje na tři vybrané snímky nizozemské filmařky Marleen Gorrisové (Ticho kolem Christine M., Antonia, Paní Dallowayová). V textu je zkoumán způsob, jakým jsou hrdinky daných filmů zobrazovány, jak je načrtnut jejich vztah k patriarchální společnosti, v níž žijí, a jaké jsou formy jejich případné rezistence proti daným společenským uspořádáním. K tomuto zkoumání je v práci použita ideologická analýza, pomocí které lze zkoumat jak hodnoty, přesvědčení nebo předsudky v rámci určitého obsahu, tak i motivace a mocenské vztahy, na nichž je daný obsah založen. The master’s thesis focuses on three selected films by a Dutch filmmaker Marleen Gorris (A Question of Silence [De stilte rond Christine M.], Antonia, and Mrs. Dalloway). The text examines the way the film female characters are depicted, their relationship to the patriarchal society they live in and the forms of their possible resistance to a given social order. An ideological analysis used for that purpose enables to explore both values, beliefs or prejudices of a certain content, as well as motivation and power relationships the content is based on.
