Tato práce se zabývá postavou bratra Rogera Schutze, zakladatele křesťanské komunity v Taizé. Prostřednictvím analýzy vybraných Rogerových textů, příspěvků současných theologů a biografické literatury představuje jeho vztah k theologii a přináší argumenty pro podporu hypotézy, že bratra Rogera lze oprávněně považovat za theologa, který svým dílem obohatil theologické myšlení. This thesis deals with brother Roger Schutz, the founder of the Christian community in Taizé. Through the analysis of selected texts written by Roger, contributions of contemporary theologians and biographical literature the thesis presents his relation to theology and argues to support the hypothesis that brother Roger can be considered as theologian, whose work enriched the theological thinking.
