Our experimental results with amifostine and cystamine, both of Czechoslovak production, indicate that not only intravenous or intraperitoneal injections but also intramuscular or subcutaneous administrations of protectors induced a good protective effects against gamma irradiation on the level of radiosensitive tissues as well as on the level of whole organism of different small and high laboratory animals. Výsledky našich experimentů s amifostinem a cystominem, oba jsou československé výroby, ukazují, že nejen nitrožilní a nitropobřišnicové injekce, ale také nitrosvalové nebo podkožní aplikace ochranných látek vyvolává dobré preventivní účinky proti ozáření paprsky gama na úrovni tkání citlivých na záření , stejně jako na úrovni celého organizmu u různých malých a velkých laboratorních zvířat.
