[cze][eng] Tématem této diplomové práce je návrh a implementace dashboardu pro konkrétní papírenskou společnost s využitím poznatků efektivního způsobu vizualizace dat. Navrhovaný dashboard je vyvíjen jako náhrada za současný způsob, který neumožňuje optimálně předat požadované informace. Pro navržení efektivního dashboardu bylo nutné načerpat znalosti z odborné literatury věnující se tématu reportingu, dashboardingu a vizualizace informací. K naplnění cílů práce byly v teoretické části použity tyto metody: poznání a popis současného stavu v oblasti reportingu a dashboardů pro získání teoretického základu a zjištění zásad a trendů vizualizace dat pro návrh efektivních grafických komponent zobrazujících klíčové informace. V praktické části bylo nutné analyzovat současný stav reportingového řešení ve společnosti a identifikace požadavků na nový dashboard. Tyto informace byly získány formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zástupci uživatelů dashboardu. Úvodní kapitoly práce jsou věnovány výkladu tématu dashboardů. Je představen jejich historický vývoj, vymezeny základní pojmy a vysvětlena definice dashboardu. Následně autor v práci popisuje charakteristiky různých druhů dashboardu. Další část práce se věnuje teoretickému základu vizualizace informací. Popisuje základní procesy lidského vnímání a možnosti, jak na něj působit manipulací s jednotlivými atributy zobrazené informace. Praktická část práce se věnuje návrhu a implementaci dashboardu ve společnosti Mondi Štětí a.s. Při návrhu grafické podoby dashboardu a jednotlivých komponent využívá autor poznatků vysvětlených v teoretické části práce. Prototyp dashboardu, vytvořený v nástroji Tableu, byl následně konzultován a validován s uživateli. Na základě jejich připomínek byl upraven a poté implementován pro reálné použití. Výsledkem této práce je dashboard pobytových dob, navržený podle zásad efektivní vizualizace dat. Tento dashboard splňuje požadavky uživatelů a naplňuje jeho definovaný účel. Dalším přínosem práce je souhrn teoretických poznatků a zásad vizualizace dat, který může sloužit jako zdroj poučení pro čtenáře. V závěru práce autor navrhuje možnosti, jak nový dashboard dále vyvíjet.The theme of this diploma thesis is the design and implementation of a dashboard for a specific paper company using the knowledge of an effective way of data visualization. The new dashboard is being developed as a replacement for the current reporting method, which does not allow the best information to be passed on. In order to design an effective dashboard, it was necessary to gain knowledge of specialized literature dealing with the topic of reporting, dashboarding and visualization of information. The following methods were used in the theoretical part: introduction and description of current situation in reporting and dashboards for obtaining a theoretical basis then finding principles and trends of data visualization for the design of effective graphic components displaying key information. In the practical part, it was necessary to analyze the current state of the reporting solution in the company and to identify requirements for the new dashboard. This information was obtained through semi-structured interviews with representatives of dashboard users. Introductory chapters are devoted to the interpretation of the theme dashboards. It introduces its historical development, basic concepts and it explains definition of dashboard. Subsequently, the author describes the characteristics of different kinds of dashboards. Another part deals with the theoretical basis of information visualization. Describes the basic processes of human perception and the ways it is affected by handling of the various attributes of the displayed information. The practical part of the thesis deals with the design and implementation of a dashboard in Mondi Štětí a.s. When designing the graphic design of the dashboard and the individual elements author uses the findings explained in the theoretical part. The dashboard prototype, created in Tableau, was subsequently consulted and validated with users. Based on their comments, it was modified and then implemented for real use. The result of this work is a dashboard of residence times, designed according to the principles of efficient data visualization. This dashboard meets user requirements and fulfills its defined purpose. Another benefit of the thesis is a summary of the theoretical knowledge and data visualization principles, which can serve as a source of instruction for the reader. At the end of the thesis, the author suggests ways to further develop the new dashboard.
