Práce je zaměřena na gamifikaci a její využití ke zlepšení funkce podniku. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře se samotnou gamifikací, zhodnotit současný stav a nastínit její možnosti využití především v oblasti produktivity zaměstnanců. Samotná práce nejprve definuje počítačovou hru i hru jako takovou, vysvětlí její základní principy a mechanismy. Osvětlí základní pojmy z motivace a psychologie, které jsou potřebné k pochopení a správnému uchopení gamifikace. Následně jsou tyto poznatky využity v kapitole gamifikace, kde práce nejprve krátce popíše historii, zhodnotí současný stav a nastíní možný vývoj do budoucna. Následně popisuje základní prvky a mechanismy z gamifikace a demonstruje je na kon-krétních příkladech z praxe. Závěr je pak věnován vlastní aplikaci, která si dává za cíl zvýšit produktivitu a motivaci zaměstnanců v kavárenském odvětví. Tato aplikace byla navržena speciálně pro účely této práce. The study addresses gamification and the implementation of gamification in a company with the goal to improve the efficiency and motivation within the company. The purpose of this study is to introduce the topic of gamification, evaluate the current status and discuss its opportunities in terms of employee's efficiency. In order to do so, the characteristics of games and computer games specifically are defined, followed by an explanation of their main principles and mechanisms. Afterwards the author introduces the basic concepts of motivation and psychology, which are necessary for understanding the core characteristics of gamification. Based on these findings, the next chapter describes gamification, starting with its history, the evaluation of the current status and a discussion of opportunities and improvements for the future. Furthermore, the main characteristics and mechanisms of gamification are described and explained on specific business cases. Last but not least, an application for gamification is developed with the goal to increase the productivity and motivation of employees in a coffee shop. This application was developed solely for the purposes of this thesis.
