Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá sebeprezentací a soukromím českých videoblogerů na platformě Youtube. Díky novému fenoménu zvanému Youtubering vznikají v online prostředí nové způsoby interakce mezi účinkujícím a publikem, které mají vliv na vnímání soukromí. Pomocí kvalitativní metody polostrukturovaných rozhovorů tato práce zkoumá každodenní sebeprezentaci, jak na platformě Youtube, tak v osobním životě Youtuberů a také se zaměřuje na to, jak tito lidé chápou koncept soukromí. Cílem této práce je zjistit strategie, které videoblogeři v České republice používají při hlídání svého soukromí pomocí výpovědí samotných Youtuberů. Práce je postavena na dramaturgickém přístupu Ervinga Goffmana s rozšířením o pohled Joshuy Meyrowitze, tedy o vliv elektronických medií. Práce dochází k závěru, že k managementu soukromí Youtubeři používají několik technik jako je příprava scény, vzhledu a jiné. Klíčovým aspektem při managementu soukromí je však především kontrola nad informacemi, kterou Youtuber má. This bachelor thesis deals with self-presentation and privacy of Czech videoblogers on the platform of Youtube. As a result of the new phenomenon called Youtubering there are new ways of interacting between performers and audiences that affect privacy created in the online environment. Using a qualitative method of semi-structured interviews, this thesis explores everyday self-presentation on the Youtube platform and in personal life of Youtubers. It also focuses on how these people understand the concept of privacy. The goal is to find out strategies used by videobloggers in the Czech Republic for protecting their privacy. It is achieved by analysing direct answers of the Youtubers. The analysis of the research data is based on the dramaturgical approach of Erving Goffman extended by Joshua Meyrowitz's view that deals with the influence of electronic media. The thesis concludes with following findings: to manage their privacy, Youtubers do use a few techniques such as preparation of the scene, their appearance and others. However, the key aspect of privacy management is Youtuber's control over information.
