V práci studujeme rozpady asteroidů, tzn. fragmentaci terče při impaktu, následnou gravitační reakumulaci fragmentů a vznik malých asteroidálních ro- din. Zaměřili jsme se na mateřská tělesa o průměru Dpb = 10 km. K simulacím jsme používali kód založený na metodě shlazených částic (SPH) a efektivní N- částicový integrátor. V simulacích jsme volili různé průměry projektilu, impaktní rychlosti a úhly; celkem jsme tak provedli 125 simulací. Výsledná rozdělení veli- kostí fragmentů jsou výrazně odlišná od výsledků jednoduše škálovaných simu- lací s terči o průměru Dpb = 100 km (Durda a spol. 2007). Odvodili jsme proto nové parametrické relace popisující rozdělení velikostí fragmentů, vhodné pro ko- lizní modely Monte-Carlo. Popisujeme také rychlostní pole a úhlové rozdělení rychlostí fragmentů, které mohou být použity v N-částicových simulací aste- roidálních rodin. Nakonec diskutujeme vícero nejistot, které se vztahují k simu- lacím SPH. We study asteroidal breakups, i.e. fragmentations of targets, subsequent gravitational reaccumulation and formation of small asteroid families. We fo- cused on parent bodies with diameters Dpb = 10 km. Simulations were per- formed with a smoothed-particle hydrodynamics (SPH) code combined with an efficient N-body integrator. We assumed various projectile sizes, impact veloci- ties and angles (125 runs in total). Resulting size-frequency distributions are sig- nificantly different from results of scaled-down simulations with Dpb = 100 km targets (Durda et al. 2007). We thus derive new parametric relations describing fragment distributions, suitable for Monte-Carlo collisional models. We also characterize velocity fields and angular distributions of fragments, which can be used in N-body simulations of asteroid families. Finally, we discuss several uncertainties related to SPH simulations.
