Amfetaminy jsou psychostimulanty centrální nervové soustavy, které vyvolávají pocit zvý ené energie, bla ený pocit a euforii. Jejich u ívání má adu fyzických a psychických ú ink , jako jsou nevolnost, zvý ený krevní tlak a tepová frekvence, zvracení, k e e v b i e, vzru ení a bd lost, hyperaktivita a mnoho dal ích. Amfetaminy vyvolávají své ú inky p sobením na monoaminový transmisní systém v ur itých oblastech mozku, d le ité jsou zejména ventrální tegmentální oblast a nucleus accumbens. Amfetaminy zde mohou ovliv ovat transportéry monoamin lokalizované v plazmatické membrán , vezikulární monoaminové transportéry a r zné receptory. P sobení amfetamin má i své praktické vyu ití p i lé b n kterých poruch, jako nap íklad porucha pozornosti s hyperaktivitou, ale chronická nadm rná aktivace toho systému a spou t ní signálních kaskád v neuronech m e vyvolat celou adu zm n na bun né a molekulární úrovni, které dále jsou podkladem vzniku závislosti na t chto drogách. Ta má na u ivatele t chto látek spoustu dal ích zdravotních a sociálních negativních dopad . Klí ová slova: amfetamin, fyziologické ú inky, monoaminergní systém, závislost Amphetamines are psychostimulants acting on the central nervous system, which produce a feeling of increased energy, euphoria and blissful feeling. The use of these drugs has many physiological effects such as nausea, increased bood pressure and heart rate, vomiting, abdominal cramps, arousal and alertness, hyperactivity and many others. Amphetamines produce their effects by acting on the monoamine transmission system in certain areas of the brain, especially in the ventral tegmental area and the nucleus accumbens. Amphetamines may affect monoamine transporters localized in the plasma membrane, vesicular monoamine transporters and various receptors. Effects of amphetamines also have practical use in the treatment of certain disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, but chronic overactivation of the system and triggering signaling cascades in neurons may induce a number of changes at the celluar and molecular levels, that underlie the development of a state of addiction on these drugs.
