Cílem práce je postihnout hlavní funkci metafikčního vyprávěcího postupu ve dvou povídkách Miguela de Cervantese - Podvodný sňatek a Rozhovor Scipiona a Berganzy. Text se nejprve zaměřuje na kompozici obou povídek, podrobně jsou analyzované zejména jejich vyprávěcí roviny. Další část práce tvoří rozbor literárních aluzí, které jsou vzhledem k žánru, jazyku nebo stylu povídek relevantní pro interpretaci metafikčního vyprávění ve vztahu k období nadcházejícího baroka. Narativní struktura povídek je dále konfrontována s Cervantesovým románem Don Quijote, který je založený na principu stejné vyprávěcí strategie jako povídky. Autorka dochází k závěru, že primární funkcí Cervantesova metafikčního vyprávění je možnost interpretace otázky pravdy vzhledem k baroknímu literárnímu smýšlení 17. století ve Španělsku. Práce je přínosná zejména v představení podrobného narativního schématu povídek, které chybí ve většině teoretických prací, jež se kompozicí Příkladných novel zabývají. The aim of the work is to sum up main function of the metafictional narrative strategies in two Cervantes' Exemplary Novels - The dialogue between Scipio and Berganze and The deceitful marriage. At the beginning, the text is focused on composition of both novels, mainly on their narrative structure. In the next part, the work is concentrated on analysis of reminiscences relevant - as for novels' genre, language and style - for interpretation of metaficitonal narrative with respect to the period of baroque upcoming. Then, the narrative structure is compared with Cervantes' novel Don Quijote which is based on the same type of narrative strategy. The author comes to the conclusion that the primary function of the metafictional narrative strategies is a possibility to interpret the question of the truth in relation to the baroque reality of the 17th century in Spain. The main importance of the work is presentation of a detailed narrative scheme of two novels, up to now absent in majority of theoretical works aimed at Exemplary Novels composition.
