Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kolapsem hluboké stavební jámy, který nastal 20. dubna 2004 na jihovýchodě Singapuru. Selhání dočasného pažícího systému bylo způsobeno především nesprávným nastavením Mohr-Coulombova materiálového modelu v programu Plaxis. V této práci je daný kolaps analyzován pomocí hypoplastického modelu pro jemnozrnné zeminy. Hypoplastický model má totiž předpoklady lépe vystihnout chování dvou hlavních vrstev tamějšího profilu, kterými jsou marinní jíly. Výsledky simulací kolapsu stavební jámy provedené pomocí hypoplastického modelu v programu Plaxis byly porovnávány s inklinometrickým měřením a se simulacemi provedenými za použití Mohr- Coulombova modelu. Ukázalo se, že předpovědi hypoplastického modelu ve většině simulací výrazně nadhodnocují deformace podzemních stěn stavební jámy. Velmi podobné výsledky poskytuje i Mohr- Coulombův materiálový model. Na základě dalších simulací s různými hodnotami základních parametrů hypoplastického modelu se zdá, že výsledné předpovědi deformací podzemních stěn jsou více ovlivněny pevností než nelinearitou tuhosti. The diploma thesis dealt with collapse of deep excavation which occurred 20th April 2004 in the souhteast part of Singapore. The collapse of temporary retaining system was caused mainly by incorrect setting of Mohr-Coulomb material model in software called Plaxis. The collapse is analyzed by hypoplastic model for clays in this thesis. Hypoplastic model can simulate better behaviour of two main layers of local profile which are marine clay. The simulation of collapse of deep excavation, done by hypoplastic model, was realized in Plaxis software. The results were compared with measurement of inclinometers and also with simulation in witch Mohr-Coulomb model was used. Predictions of hypoplastic model mostly overestimate deformation of diaphragm walls of the excavation and results of Mohr-Coulomb model are very similar. It seems that final predictions of hypoplastic model are influenced mostly by strength than by nonlinearity of stiffness.
