Moderní česká terminologie vznikala jako součást českého národního obrození přibližně mezi lety 1820-1870. Tento komplexní proces měl nejen svou profesionální, nýbrž i společenskou a politickou stránku. Modern Czech scientific terminology was established approximately between 1820 and 1870 as part of the Czech National Revival. This complex process became not only a professional but also social and political issue.
