Abstract: Tato bakalárská práce mapuje dejiny sportu ceskoslovenských respektive ceských neslyšících se zamerením na aktivitu techto sportovcu na území ceských zemí. Podává prehled vývoje sportu ceských neslyšících od prvních písemných zpráv až po soucasnost. Prináší prehledné informace o úcasti ceských neslyšících sportovcu na letních i zimních deaflympijských hrách. V neposlední rade seznamuje ctenáre s vybranými našimi úspešnými neslyšícími sportovci. Samostatnou kapitolu tvorí vhled do problematiky vlivu ztráty sluchu na výkon sportovce. Má práce si neklade za cíl informovat o každé sportovní události neslyšících v ceských zemích. Ani o každém klubu nebo úspechu. Jejím cílem je však pokus o podání uceleného obrazu ceského sportu neslyšících za posledních sto let.
