Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem přistupují začínající podnikatelé k hodnocení podnikatelských příležitostí. Konkrétněji bylo záměrem odhalit, zdali se nějakým způsobem liší jejich hodnocení podnikatelských příležitostí v závislosti na typu příležitosti. Dále bylo zkoumáno, jak se liší hodnocení podnikatelských příležitostí z pohledu začínajících versus zkušených podnikatelů. K tomuto porovnání byly použity výsledky výzkumu Tomáše Laboutky (2010), který zkoumal hodnocení příležitostí právě zkušenými podnikateli. Jako výzkumná metoda byl použit kvalitativní výzkum za použití případových studií vystihujících podnikatelské příležitosti. Na základě výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že začínající podnikatelé při hodnocení příležitostí nejčastěji reflektují osobní pocity spjaté s daným produktem či oborem a typ příležitosti nehraje větší roli. Při porovnání začínajících a zkušených podnikatelů pak nebyly identifikovány žádné signifikantní rozdíly v jejich hodnocení. The aim of this thesis is to find out how start-ups or beginning entrepreneurs evaluate business opportunities. More specifically, the intention is to reveal whether their assessment of business opportunities differs in some way depending on the type of opportunity. It was then examined how the assessment of business opportunities differs from the perspective of beginning versus experienced entrepreneurs. This comparison used the research results of Laboutka (2010), who examined the assessment of the opportunities of experienced entrepreneurs. The research method used was a qualitative research using case studies that reflect business opportunities. Based on the investigation it was found that beginning entrepreneurs mostly reflect personal feelings related to that product or segment in evaluating opportunities and the type of opportunity does not play a major role. When comparing beginning and experienced entrepreneurs, there were not identified any significant differences in their assessments.
