Mikropodnikání je v současnosti považováno za důležitý faktor ekonomického rozvoje především v méně rozvinutých zemích. I přes značné zlepšení stále převládá názor, že jedním z nejpodstatnějších omezení mikropodnikatelů, je nedostatečný přístup ke kapitálu. Tento problém se snaží řešit různé formy garančních programů, které mají za cíl přilákat do této oblasti nové investory. V této diplomové práci je zkoumáno, jaké nároky jsou kladeny na efektivní garanční mechanismus pro tuto oblast a jak tyto představy v současnosti plní některé z významných garančních fondů operujících v rozvojových oblastech. Závěrem diplomové práce je, že přístup ke kapitálu se v rozvojových zemích zlepšuje. Garanční fondy se stále více rozvíjí, přesto jejich význam není v porovnání s celým sektorem velký. Garanční fondy mají potenciál přilákat do oblasti mikrofinancování více investorů, otázkou však je, zda náklady na toto nejsou příliš vysoké. Microbusiness is recognized as an important tool for economic growth especially in less developed countries. It is supposed that a lack of access to capital is one of the most prominent constraints of microentepreneurs. To address this limitation, many forms of loan guarantee programs have been established. This paper examines what demands are placed on an effective guarantee structure in this field and how these aims are accomplished by the current guarantee funds. In conclusion, the access to capital is getting better recently in these countries. Guarantee funds have been growing, however, their importance is not so significant yet. Guarantee funds have a potential to draw an attention of investors to microlending but the cost of these schemes seems to be too high.
