Byly izolovány a charakterizovány tři geny účastnící se degradace katecholu a jeden gen kódující aktivátor jejich exprese u kmene Rhodococcus erythropolis degradujícího fenol. Získané poznatky přispějí ke konstrukci kmenů s účinnější degradací fenolu. Three genes of phenol-degrader Rhodococcus erythropolis involved in degradation of catechol and one gene coding for their activator were isolated and characterized.The obtained knowledge will contribute to construction of strains with more efficient phenol degradation.
