Traveling Tournament Problem je optimalizační úloha sportovního kalendáře, ve které se vyžaduje nalezení minimální možné úhrnné vzdálenosti při cestování týmů mezi jednotlivými zápasy turnaje. Turnaj je nejčastěji typu "dvakrát každý s každým", kde vzdálenosti jsou pro jednotlivé týmy klíčové. Paralelně se v problematice hledá optimální řešení vhodného uspořádání týmů do sportovní tabulky při respektování nejvyššího možného počtu všech kritérií, které jsou na pořadatele apelovány zainteresovanými subjekty, jako například manažery týmů či televizními a radiovými společnostmi. Práce poskytuje náhled do složitosti řešení úloh takovýchto rozsahů, doporučení při jejich řešení a možná východiska. V závěru je uvedena alternativní varianta pro výpočty turnajových rozpisů v českém prostředí, pro které vzdálenosti nejsou až tak důležité. Traveling Tournament Problem is the optimization problem of sport calendar which requires finding the minimum sum of possible travel distances between the teams tournament matches. The tournament is most common type of "double round robin" where distance is crucial for the teams. Concurrently with the issue of finding the optimal solution to a suitable arrangement of sports teams in the table together with respecting the highest possible number of criteria appealing by stakeholders to organizers such as managers of teams and television and radio companies. Thesis provides insight into the complexity of solving large problems, recommendation for their solutions and possible starting-points. In the end there is an alternative option for calculations tournament schedules in the Czech environment event the distances are not so important in this case.
