Abstract: We provide a complete set of equations describing the properties of supersaturated steam, the condensate (liquid phase) and the phase interface. The equations are designed in a form suitable for application in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). A special feature of the present treatment is that we consider the energetic effect of the phase interface in the energy balance.
