Urban concept of BVV Trade Fairs Brno

This thesis has been prepared as urban study BVV in Brno. The project deals with the revitalization of the area, streamlining usage in the long run. The area is delimited to the northeast street Hlinka, southwest Street Bauer. The territory is located near the center of Brno, near the Mendel Square. It is directly connected to the ring road. The main objectives of the project are to restore its original luster campus, thanks to which Brno became known in the world - to create an international cultural and sports science node. Open to the public year-round resort and create new areas of specific housing related to the function of the complex.
Sport Centre Za Lužánkami Brno

The theme of my diplom thesis is to create the architectural study of a football stadium in Brno behind Lužánky. The proposed stadium is to create facilities for football , athletes and fans. Stadium capacity is 22 thousands audience. The football stadium is part of a sports complex, which dominates the area. The project responds to the sloping ground and is creating a single complex. Foyer (football stadium) is one open space, where the exterior continuously changes the interior. It was created direct view from the foyer on the playing surface.
Roman spa - sauna world

The theme of dissertation is to create the architectural study of a Roman bath and sauna World. Spa are part of a complex aqvapark. There is a defined a part of the aqvapark. Dedicated to recreation and clearing the body. I propose a new open space, allowing penetration of light and air. THe area comprising the impression of kontinuity and at the same time the idea of intimacy. Using simple geometric forms allows capturing the important principles of operation.
Family House on the Slope

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to process the project documentation of a family house in a sloping terrain, which is located in the built-up area of the city of Brno, on the outskirts of the city, Jehnice. It is about detached family house opening to the southwest into the sunny part of the residential gardens. To the street is a ground floor house with a residential attic, a gabled roof with a parallel ridge with local roads. The individual floors recede in accordance with the sloping land and in each floor ensures a direct contact of the interior with the exterior, in the underground floor, by the terraced arrangement of the house direct access from the pool and lounge to the garden, on the main living floor on the ground floor connecting the living space with a glass wall with a terrace and a staircase with the garden, in the attic is from the terrace in the southern half of the house, thanks to the location of the building at the top of the slope, offered a view of the countryside and forests in the vicinity. The house has three floors, the underground floor is adjacent to the road, the garden is due to the slope terrain open. Service areas and residential gardens are oriented to the north side of the street rooms. In the attic there is a garage for 3 cars and then also a carport on the road. Furthermore, technical facilities, cloakroom, gym with facilities, lounge and part with swimming pool, sauna and social facilities. Before the common room is a covered terrace. The second residential unit is located on the 2nd floor. From a construction point of view, the street is longitudinal double track, to the street facilities and service areas and to the garden living rooms and social facilities. The house will be built using classic technology from ceramic fittings and reinforced concrete horizontal constructions. 1st floor includes a residential unit 4 + kk with a living room with kitchenette and facilities garden, 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms
CARBON Visitor Center

Goal of this work is to create a modern and attractive centre that will serve not only as an information hub for tourists, but also as a cultural and educational space for local residents. The result will be an increase in the attractiveness of the area for tourists and the creation of new opportunities for the local economy.

Kocúrová, Z.: The things we /do not/ need /Graduation Thesis/ Praha 2012 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education. Supervisor M. Sedlák. The aim of the graduation thesis is the relation of human and space in the context of philosophy, psychology, social history, art and education. The theoretical part is focused on open and closed space, on their relationship to basic human needs as safeness and solidarity. Individuals apply isolation and control to defeat their fears. The means of open architecture are connected with these issues as well. The second part of my work concentrates on my art projects inspired by the mentioned concepts. My installations, actions and cycle of photographs is described. The third part is focused on applications of these topics in the art teaching. Key words: open space, closed space, fear, safeness, architecture, folding screen, bags, transparency, education.
