The Company network security design and recovery plan

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the company's network security and data recovery. The theoretical part is devoted to the current legislative requirements of the EU, Czech Republic, and relevant standards. It also provides an overview of cyber threats, statistical data on cyber attacks from the National Cyber and Information Security Authority, and a general procedure for designing a security network architecture and data recovery plan. The work is done in collaboration with the head of the IT department at Ferrit Ltd. The practical part deals with the analysis and description of the current state of the IT security network in Ferrit s.r.o., the design of a data recovery plan in case of ransomware attacks that would encrypt all data in the company, and the development of training for employees in the field of information and cyber security and a test to verify their knowledge. The paper concludes with an assessment of the benefits of designing a new network security architecture, data recovery plan, and user training.
Cyber security of endpoint elements

This paper describes the design of cyber security for endpoints working on the ARM hardware architecture with the Linux operating system and using the TCP/IP and UDP/IP protocols for network communication. In the introduction, the reader is introduced to the basic concepts of cyber security as well as to the public key infrastructure (PKI) and ways of establishing a secure connection. The reader is introduced to the basic security techniques and the standard regulating security for industrial automation systems. In the practical part, the threat assessment of the presented network infrastructure is elaborated, and security functions that are embedded in NXP i.MX 7 processors and can be used for the cryptographic security of these devices are described.
Proposal of an electronic security system as part of the physical securing of critical infrastructure energetic objects

This master's thesis deals with the design of an electronic security system as part of the physical security for the energy company in the Czech Republic. The electronic security system is designed to meet all legal requirements, internal directives and has also passed ISO 27001 certification. The Implementation of the security system is demonstrated on the selected object of the company that belongs to the elements of the critical infrastructure.

This master’s thesis deals with design of an access system as a part of physical security solution for an energy company in the Czech Republic. The access system is designed to meet all legal requirements and conform to ISO 27001 certification. Implementation of the proposed access system is demonstrated on the selected company object, a representative example of connecting the critical infrastructure element and the company's common facility.

The diploma thesis focuses on physical security solutions in an organization acting in a metallurgy segment. The analytical part identifies the weaknesses in individual areas of physical security according to ČSN/ISO 27 000 regulation. The practical part is divided into individual chapters bringing suggestions for corrections, modernization and modifications of the system. The theoretical part deals mainly with clarification of the terminology and proceses used in the practical part. I see the benefit of my work in the practical suggestions for the changes. If they are implemented correctly, the physical security of the organization will be of high quality.

The first part deals with the analysis of the current state of physical security and technical protection of the premises. The theoretical part deals with theoretical solutions for security system proposal. The practical part is focused on separate PZTS and CCTV systems proposal, that will meet all the requirements and standards of the customer.
