Calculation of induction machine cooling
Záruba, Jan ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis discusses in the first part of the theoretical concept of flow and cooling induction machine. His behavior , characteristics and possible variants of its calculation . Questions concerning losses from the engine, through the second cooling flow types and finally the calculation. The second part focuses on practical laboratory measurements on a real model. Furthermore, the evaluation of its results. The third part focuses on computer simulation and calculation. The third part is further divided into three phases , where in the first phase devoted to the calculation and simulation flow to the fan motor. In the second stage, the third part deals with the flow in the engine itself , and the third is described and simulated temperature analysis . In the final third phase are subsequently evaluated by computer simulations and compared with practical measurements . This comparison is based on the theory described from the beginning.
Usage of Busbar as a Source of Heat
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This study is dedicated to the use of heat energy from the busbar and its cooling system. The study deals with thermal analysis of the busbar, both using numerical simulations in SolidWorks and practical examination – warming of the busbar. We can verify the correctness of the simulation from the measured values. To determine the temperature profile of the busbar, it is necessary to measure the temperature at various points of the busbar by contact method using thermocouple or contactless method using a thermal imager. Measurements are performed at the busbar LIA1600 made by Siemens Busbar Trunking System Mohelnice. The aim of the study is to analyze temperature busbar, to suggest the most efficient method of heat recovery, and to make economic calculation
