Monitoring the social impact as a tool to increase the credibility of non-profit organizations
Nejedlá, Barbora ; Vrzáček, Petr (advisor) ; Komberec Novosadova, Barbora (referee)
This diploma thesis combines the method of monitoring the social impact with the phenomenon of the credibility of non-profit organizations. According to the results of public opinion polls in the Czech Republic, confidence in non-profit organizations has been low for a long time. Lack of transparency and low awareness of the activities and principles of non- profit organizations can be reasons for distrust in non-profit organizations. This thesis aims to present a method of monitoring the impact of those who do not yet know it using a manual based on the results of action research and thus contribute to greater transparency and better presentation of results and later greater credibility of organizations. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with trust and credibility, the method of monitoring the impact and the introduction of the non-profit sector of the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on a multi-sided view, practical examples, and data support. The empirical part of this work uses action research and human-centerd design to connect trust and credibility with the method of monitoring the impact in the sphere of non-profit organizations. The result of action research is that the implementation of the impact monitoring method brings with it many changes, which can be distinguished into...

A partial aim was to create a simplified model in which a simulation of the given system was performed. This aim has been applied to the destination of Cesky Krumlov. The contribution of the work is to find optimal decisions, policies and individual processes in order to assess the subsequent impacts and manage the development of tourism destination towards sustainability.
Koncepční řízení institucí cestovního ruchu na území měst
VOLFOVÁ, Hana
The main goal of this dissertation thesis has been defined as the development and presentation of a model designed to show transparency of different effects of tourism in urban destinations and its practical application by destination management organizations. The resident sub-model was compiled, based on research in the selected destination as well as its statistical evaluation. This sub-model clearly demonstrates relationships that affect tourism. This decision model was focused on the socio-economic effects, primarily generated by residents, which influence tourists and basically tourism in urban destinations. The resident sub-model was subsequently incorporated into another decision model of the sustainable destination to show the resident influence on objective economic factors generated by tourism in urban destinations. These two models clearly illustrate how complicated system is the behaviour of residents and which significant negative / positive effects on tourism can generate. For the development of this solution system thinking was used as the main methodological approach. System thinking has been actually rarely used, but it is very effective method, because it can reveal complexity of diverse relationships and find possibilities how to influence and control these relationships; in this case by destination management organizations. This solution is intended primarily for these tourism institutions. This method was intentionally simplified to be applicable by the local organizations. However, it retains high level of efficiency, which can bring required objectivity in very subjective relationships between residents, tourist and basically tourism at urban destinations.

The bachelor thesis is concentrating on application of system dynamics in the real restaurant, to be more specific on ordering system of vegetables to minimize its throwing out. In theoretic part there is mentioned the history of system dynamics, its many applications in the world and in the Czech Republic. Next there are explained important terms that are connected to system dynamics. There is mentioned the relation between system dynamics and system thinking. Also there are tools used to describe structure of the system and the most recent system's archetypes. The practical part describes the restaurant and there are set goals that the model is trying to achieve. There are described two diagrams, one is causal loop diagram and the other is stock and flow diagram. Thanks to these diagrams it was possible to receive optimization for needed data and to achieve set goals.
System approach to customer satisfaction and loyality in specific company
Šimůnek, Jiří ; Krejčí, Igor (advisor) ; Horáková, Tereza (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the application of system dynamics in customer loyality and satisfaction towards the company Florbal.com. The theoretical part briefly describes the history of the system dynamics, evolution and the definition of system dynamics. The theoretical part is focused on the change of linear thinking to nonlinear or system thinking and the description and significance of mental models. Described is also the creation causal loop diagram and the stocks and flows, the differences between the two diagrams and their advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part is creation of model in Vensim PLE software, at first was created causal loop diagram outlining how it could look like diagram stocks and flows, also reveal a feedback loops and the interaction toward the model. The next step is creating diagram stocks and flows, supplemented by mathematical functions and create several policies. The next step is to run simulations for each policy. Completion of the practical part is to interpret the results and recommendations of the most appropriate policy.
