Electric Volin with MIDI Output
Spilka, Benedikt ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to design and to construct a electric violin with MIDI output. This thesis include design and conctruction of violin pickup, violin electronic and software for translation of sound into MIDI messages. design of the instrument´s body is presented at the end of the thesis. Violin electronic include circuits for filtration, amplification, processing and AD/DA conversion of audio siganl. Software for MIDI transfer recognizes notes and translates them to MIDI messages.
Design of audio frequency amplifier for PC sound card
Chalupa, Petr ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This work deals with the problems of low frequency amplifiers that are specialised in processing an analog music signal, that is get from output element of an sound card of an computer. A part of my work is a design of an amplifier, an design verification by calculations and simulations and subsequent production of amplifier. The end of my work is specialised in measurement parametres of amplifier and comparing them with german norm DIN 45 500.
Design and realization of USB sound card with a guitar and microphone preamplifier
Bajzík, Jakub ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The term paper analyzes the available audio codecs platforms for the implementation of an external sound card with USB interface. It includes a complete design of differential microphone preamplifier with balanced input and single-ended guitar preamplifier with unbalanced input. The main circuit is completed by dual supply voltage, phantom power and signal indication. The term paper also includes a software simulation of preamplifier circuits and design of the printed circuit board. The final product was measured focusing on audio signal transfer.

Mobile hardware solution for audio work
Liška, Jakub ; Šubrta, Václav (advisor) ; Brixí, Radim (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to finding a solution for mobile computer audio recording and editing. We are searching for appropriate solutions based on defined needs. For calculations we have used the multi-criteria selection method. To be exact, we are searching for computers and external sound cards. The result is the location of the computer and the sound card. It is a hardware set, which can be used for amateur or semi-professional audio work. The thesis describes more possible solutions and shows the advantages and disadvantages of them.
