The assortment analysis of Kika business company

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the company Kika furniture, that belongs to one of the biggest sellers of furniture and household accessories. It is focused mainly on buying process of the company in connection with marketing and marketing strategy. This thesis also concerns with the main problem of purchase marketing, choice of suppliers and the its influence on the offered assortment. By means of analysis, it recognizes the price differences among the chosen suppliers as well as the differences in buying and selling among the particular suppliers of various kinds of upholstered beds from the Boxspring assortment.

This bachelor thesis deals with children's room making. There are describes developmental stages of childhood that affect their needs and requirements for functional zones and furniture. It is focused on ergonomics, safety and hygienic requirements, materials, coloring and lighting and other elements forming the atmosphere of the children's room. The thesis also concentrates on siblings living in one room, their relationships and requirements for making a shared room. These pieces of knowledge are employed in the assessment of the state of the real children's room and in suitable layout.

The storage furniture for preschool children

This work is focused on an issue of furnishing a public interior for preschool children. It's aimed mainly on the space of changing room and bathroom. The chosen topic was solved from the viewpoint of psychology, security, hygiene and materials. Resulting information was made into a study case, which was finally realized under the author's supervision. Single pieces together with decoration have made a very safe, comfortable and optimistic space for children and also for their staff. It was put into practice in the Primary and nursery school in Uherčice in years 2013 and 2014.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to acquire theoretical knowledges in the sphere of bathroom's equipment for people with limited mobility. The thesis presents basic specific ergonomic, hygiene and safety requirements for bathrooms and its facilities. Part of this thesis is comparing theoretical knowledges with the actual state of selected bathrooms in a retirement home and specialist healing institution. The work also include overview of companies at czech market, which are focused on bathroom's furniture sale and equipment for the disabled persons. The last part contains own bathroom proposal for disabled person, which is designed according to knowledges obtained in the theoretical part.

This bachelor thesis deals with the structural design beds, with parameters taking into account the requirements of the young population of students. The requirements of this generation were detected by using a public survey. The main principles for the design of construction is based on standard ergonomic, anthropometric and safety requirements for sleeping furniture. The drawings, bills of materials and evaluation of the survey are included in the appendix of this thesis.

In the first part of this Bachelor thesis is described theory of designing interior in First Czechoslovak Republic style. In this part, there is also described some Brno's restaurants in the same style. The Bachelor thesis is focused on functionality, maximizing capacity, typology of furniture and space. In the second part is created real draft of the area focusing on the functional requirements, typology of furniture and space, which are described in the first part. The content of this section are also visualizations and distribution of floor space.

The first part of this bachelor thesis is a theoretical part. The thesis discusses the requirements of public interior. This section summarizes the rules and regulations wchich govern the formation of the interior, especially for security issues. A research of existing restaurants in Brno was carried out for the purpose of market research and inspiration. The second part of this bachelor thesis is practical. It includes a design solutions of interior of the pub. The design includes a ground plan layout, electrical and item plan. The resulting design is displayed via 3D visualization. When drafting this plan, the emphasis was put on maximizing the capacity while maintaining the functionality of the interior.

Návrh atypického nábytku pro rodinný dům

The thesis dealt with the design of the interior and atypical furniture in a particular house. The new layout is solved with regard to construction of the family house so that the reconstruction must not be too expensive and demanding structural adjustments. In the theoretical section the common requirements for interior of the family house and its individual rooms. My own designs were created with regard to customer demands on the layout design and general look of the interior. The outcome of this thesis are the visualization of space and drawing documentation of the interior and the proposed furniture.

Moderní nátěrové systémy určené pro dokončování skříňového nábytku

The subject of this thesis is dealing with finishing of cabinet furniture with modern coating systems. The theoretical part will analyze the current state of finishing furniture parts, the basic types of coating and there will be assessed factors affecting quality finishes for furniture designed for an interior. This section also includes the issue of defects in film and what causes them. The outcome of this thesis is also evaluating of appropriate paints for finishing of cabinet furniture. Samples will be made from beech wood and chipboard covered with beech veneer. As the test paints were selected waterborne, polyurethane and acrylic coatings. The samples then undergo a series of tests on the basis of which the suitability of a particular paint will evaluate.
