Social farming - Possibilities of certification of social farm

In the literature review of this diploma thesis, the reader will first learn about the history of Czech agriculture. Subsequently, they will get acquainted with the concept of social agriculture, its historical development and function in the Czech Republic and in selected European countries. The text also describes the structure of social farming farms, target groups and institutions supporting the activities of social agriculture. The next part describes the possibilities of certification, labelling and control of products of social agriculture, as well as organic farming. At the end of the theoretical part, the production of eco-logical and social agriculture is mentioned. The main objective of the thesis is to focus on the possibilities of certification, labelling and control within social agriculture in the Czech Republic, which is based on a questionnaire survey and direct interviews.
Social farming - specifics in social work, economy, running of the farm

The aim of my work is to map and evaluate whether there is provided social work at social farms, in which form and at which level it is. In the introduction I present the concept of social agriculture and analyse the outcomes of a questionnaire survey "Typical attributes of a social farm". In the main part I summarise the specifics of the social work at different types of those farms. I asses the target groups, targets and methods of social work with respect to the possibility of integration of handicapped individuals in the rural space at social farms. I deal with the topic of motivation of the disabled employees/clients and the prevention of inappropriate behaviour patterns. Moreover I shed light on the connection between the social focus of the farms with other non-productive functions of agriculture with regard to the permanently sustainable farming and the formation of resilient country communities.
Social farming - possibilities of certification, labelling and control of production

In the literature review, the bachelor thesis first deals with agriculture in the Czech Republic, the history and main functions of agriculture. The most important part is to get acquainted with the concept of social farming, its development and function not only in the Czech Republic but also in other European countries. The next part of the text describes the farm processing of agricultural products and, last but not least, a description of certification, labelling and control of products, both in social farming and in organic farming. The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the perception of certification, labeling and control of social farming products based on a questionnaire survey and interviews with selected target groups.
Therapeutic character of social agriculture

The aim of the thesis is to describe the therapeutic character of social farming. Social farming is a relatively new and dynamic field of the social economy. The thesis examines the therapeutic nature of social farms in terms of meeting human needs. It is a type of social entrepreneurship, the therapeutic aspects of which will be explored in a selected social farm through a case study. The aim of the thesis is to describe the effects that social farming has on its clients from a therapeutic point of view. The theoretical part presents a basis for describing the relationship between human and nature, that has positive psychological effects on human mental health. It also opens up concepts such as Green care, animal-assisted therapy, horticultural therapy, multifunctional agriculture and other. The empirical part explores life on a specific farm in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the clients themselves who are employees of the social entrepreneurship through the lens of the therapeutic aspect of particular social farm. Aktuální stav rozvoje Green Care v České republice

The theme of this bachelor thesis is a Current development of Green Care in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to explaining the term Green Care (which includes a history) and other terms associated with it. Then, the thesis is focused on development and the most used forms of Green Care in foreign countries as well as in the Czech Republic. In next part, there are described farms which are using this concept. The last part of the thesis focuses on the future development options of Green care in the Czech Republic.
Rurální cestovní ruch a jeho dopady na složky životního prostředí

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare and assess the environmental, economic and social impact of services provided by the selected subjects engaged in rural tourism. The literary review identified and described the basic concepts of multifunctional agriculture, green and rural/country tourism and agritourism, the differences between so-called hard and soft tourism was also explained. An assessment and inventory analysis were done based on data from a survey of the studied subjects / service providers. The hourly CO2 emission rate of services offered was assessed from the data and information obtained from the Ecoinvent database. At the same time, the basis for an indicative assessment of the economic efficiency of services was calculated.

This thesis offers an introduction to the issue of social agriculture, explains this concept, defines theoretical basis, specifics, sources of financing social agriculture. It describes the state of social farming in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part de-scribes the Czech social farm Dvůr Čihovice, the description is supplemented with a SWOT analysis. This farm is compared with similarly oriented foreign farm in the United Kingdom, whose image is constructed from the survey.
Multifunctional agriculture: model area ORP Sušice

The topic of this bachelor thesis is multifunctional agriculture. The principal aim of this bachelor work is contributing to the analysis of multifunctional agriculture in the Czech republic, especially to some of its special forms- ecological agriculture and agroturism. Further the work tries to analyze these forms in the model area ORP Susice. The theoretical part addresses the development, multifuncionality of the agriculture in the Czech republic and then there are analysed the special forms of it. The field investigation took place in the region "Susicko" and its aim was analysing the main problems that are connected with the business in the ecological agriculture. Eight respondents were asked about these problems by using the method of directed interview. The assumption was confirmed, especially that the number of ecological farms increases all the time. It was also confirmed that the model area ORP Susice belongs to the areas with higher than average count of ecological farms. The most of these farms engage in livestock production- particularly it could be caused by the worse natural conditions in this area. Analysis of farm company with a view of obtaining farm subsidies from EU

The purpose of this work was to analyze the current state of agricultural undertaking from the perspective of where the firm draws fund from the EU and national resoureces. Based on this analysis, the proposed new financial incentives for the development of selected farm and also has developed a pilot project proposal.
