Apartment house Mánes
Alánová, Anna ; Žajdlík, Tomáš (referee) ; Šuhajdová, Eva (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is processing of project documentation for the construction of an apartment building. This building is situated in an attractive locality of the Brno-Královo Pole district on a now unused property. The new construction of an apartment building would be the final element of the development of Mánesova Street and at the same time complement the disparate frontage line of Palackého třída. Problematic parking in this area is solved by placing the front part of the building on columns. Four parking places are situated between those columns. Other three parking places are in two separate garages on the ground floor of the building. It is a detached apartment building with five floors, in which there are seven residential units with layouts 2 + kk and 3 + kk. The foundations are solved by foundation pads and strip foundation. The first floor is a combination of reinforced concrete monolithic columns in front of the building and reinforced concrete monolithic walls. Other vertical structures are walled with clay blocks. Ceiling structures are composed of prestressed ceiling panels. Balconies, terraces and individual parts of the staircase are made of prefabricated boards. The roof structure is a warm flat vegetation roof. The building is insulated with the ETICS system above the first floor. The material and colour of the facade is adapted to the surrounding buildings.

Novák, Jan ; Šuhajdová, Eva (referee) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and elaboration of the project documentation for the works required for the completion and modernization of Žamberk Health Clinic. Specifically it deals with the extension of ambulatory psychiatry of its inpatient ward. The object in focus is located in the built-up part of Žamberk and it is located in the area of the Specialist Asylum Albertinum Žamberk. The building is designed as an annex with one underground and two aboveground floors with a flat roof. It is divided into three units: a dormitory psychiatric care, the dormitory gerontopsychiatric care unit and the therapeutic block. The suggestion was to keep up the requirement to minimize the interference of existing outpatient psychiatric facility and to create operationally interconnected unit between the existing object and the extension at the same time. The construction system is considered from traditional building materials. The fundamentals are made by a combination of plain concrete and lost formwork. Vertical carrier structures are made of reinforced concrete monolithic walls for the underground floor and brick walls made of ceramic blocks for both aboveground floors. Vertical partitioning structures are also walled from ceramic blocks. Horizontal carrier structures are designed as reinforced concrete monolithic continuous boards. The object is insulated with ETICS, the roof is flat and single-skinned

Odehnalová, Marie ; Karásek, Petr (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a new kindergarten building and the elaboration of the documentation for the construction. The building is situated in the western part of the village of Vlkov u Osové Bítýšky. The building is set in a slightly sloping terrain. The building is designed as a single-storey building. The building is cha-racterized by two wings of an arched shape and an elevated central part supplemented with sacral lighting through circular openings and a glazed front facade. The building contains two kindergarten classrooms with a capacity of 20 children with operational facilities and its own kitchen, the school's administrative operation and technical facilities of the building. Each classroom has separate cloakrooms, washroom, isolation room, playroom and entran-ce to the terrace which also serves as an additional emergency exit. The building is designed to a low-energy standard, as a near-zero heat building (nZEB). The building is designed for use by people with reduced mobility. The structural design is a masonry wall building with ETICS contact insulation forming the central part of the building. The ceiling structure is designed as a broken reinforced concrete slab connec-ted to monolithic walls within the elevated part of the building. The foundation is solved by foun-dation strips under the perimeter walls - the walls are supplemented with necks made of concrete blocks of lost formwork. The roofing is designed as a single-skin flat roof with a layer of extensive greenery. Adjacent to the brick building are wooden buildings forming the kindergarten classrooms. These are structurally designed as fan-arranged frames of glued laminated timber, wrapped in a lightweight envelope with a ventilated façade. The columns are founded on plain concrete footings, with a slab of underlying concrete to be extended in place of the lightweight envelope. Above the classrooms, there is a pitched single-skin roof with a slope sloping down towards the central part of the building.
