Earthen surfaces in contemporary architecture

The theme of this thesis are surfaces made of unburned earth and used in architecture. The thesis focuses mainly on detailed mapping and analysis of the present state. However, it does not omit the historical roots of earthen surfaces in the area of today`s Czech Republic. In these roots it looks for connections with contemporary practice. The thesis deduces conclusions from thorough evaluation of the present situation – it shows perspectives and possible drift of the future development of earthen surfaces. Both in the field of architecture and in areas broadening this field.

Detached house with workshop

Abstract Topic of this bachelors work is detached house with workshop in council Lhotky u Malotic. House is designed for 4-6 member family. Structure is without basement with one above ground floor, attic and loft. Workshop and garage are separate connected with main building by fence wall. Desing is based on traditional czech village architecture. Main living rooms are situated to the south part of garden. Land is availiable from distant local road. Vertical load bearing structure is mansory. Horizontal load bearing structures are from traditional timber beam ceiling. Staircase is cast-in-place reinforced concrete. Roof is classical saddle. Project was done in computer program ArchiCAD.

Provádění soupisu a dokumentace roubených objektů tradičního stavitelství

Metodiku lze využít pro výzkumnou činnost zaměřenou na průzkum roubených objektů ve vymezeném prostoru a čase, nebo ji průběžně uplatňovat během časově neomezeného poznávání svébytných dokladů lidového stavitelství. Metodika je určena etnografům/etnologům, památkářům, architektům, stavebním historikům, ale také vlastivědným pracovníkům, kteří mají zájem o zachování doposud stojících roubených obytných i hospodářských budov v příslušné obci či v širším regionu. Metodiku mohou využívat jak pracovníci památkové péče, paměťových institucí (například muzeí v přírodě), univerzit (včetně studentů), tak rovněž kupříkladu kronikáři měst a obcí. Z institucí jde například o Národní památkový ústav, Slezské zemské muzeum, Valašské muzeum v přírodě v Rožnově pod Radhoštěm, Muzeum vesnice jihovýchodní Moravy – Strážnice, Muzeum Novojičínska, Národní zemědělské muzeum a Ústav evropské etnologie – Filozofická fakulta Masarykovy univerzity v Brně.

Metodika dokumentace lidové architektury

Cílem metodiky dokumentace venkovských staveb je vybrat, utřídit a prezentovat takové dokumentační techniky a postupy, které by umožňovaly získat maximum informací pro stanovení památkových hodnot venkovských staveb. Ty se odvíjejí od jejího historického, architektonického a urbanistického kontextu, stavebního vývoje a dochovaných autentických prvků. Metodika umožňuje cíleně sledovat všechny znaky stavby významné pro získání informací, které jsou potřebné k následnému stanovení památkových hodnot stavby.

Využití staveb lidové architektury ve venkovském cestovním ruchu

The topic of this bachelor thesis is The use of the monuments of folk architecture in rural tourism. The introduction deals with the characteristics of folk architecture, its history and regional types of rural monuments. The next part describes the protection of the monuments of folk architecture, their use in tourism and an overview of contemporary museums of folk architecture in the Czech Republic, focusing on the events. In the third part there is used SWOT analysis, evaluation of the current state of museums of folk architecture and definition of the funding options. The last section includes the conclusion, in which I am and suggesting the possibility of the further development of the protection of the monuments of folk architecture in the Czech Republic.

Charakteristika roubených staveb na území České republiky

The aim of this paper is to make an analysis and characterize individual structural and typological elements of timbered buildings in the Czech Republic. The paper is focused on different localities in the Czech Republic, which are reviewed in terms of architecture and it's structural and typological elements. The characteristics of timbered houses was performed using technical literature. It was found that particular localities were influenced by specific livelihoods, by altitude and by original structural materials. Using all the collected data from this paper, it is possible to find out differences in structural and typological elements of timbered houses and their dependence on specific localities.

Dolní Adršpach - rekreační objekt k celoročnímu užívání

In this thesis is designed half-timbered building that will serve for year-round recreation purposes and satisfies requirements of the owner. Object is constructed on a certain property, which is located at Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko in protected landscape zone III. and IV. The building is designed in respect to folk architecture and legal regulations and norms required by Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko. Together with the design of the building was also conducted a research of selected current surrounding buildings and their photo documentation. With compositions of building envelope is calculated heat thermal transmittance value "U-value". Attached, there is a drawing part as well, which can serve as a foundation for the construction of the building.

Obsahuje podrobný návod jak postupovat – v terénu i na pracovišti – při průzkumu a zpracování informací o větším množství památek lidové architektury na širším území, ať již jde o kraje, okresy, jinak vymezené regiony či jednotlivá sídla. Metric survey documentation of historic buildings for use in heritage management

Tato publikace přináší ucelený přehled principů a užívaných metod měřické dokumentace, seznamuje se základními pravidly terénní práce, zpracování i posuzování výsledných výstupů, poskytuje vzory základních forem dokumentace. Věnuje se však také zaměřování staveb v minulosti, používaným metodám a nástrojům. Klade si za cíl pomoci pracovníkům památkové péče kvalifikovaně formulovat požadavky na nově vznikající dokumentaci, posuzovat kvalitu odevzdávaných výstupů a v nezbytných případech také měřickou dokumentaci „svépomocí“ provádět. Architektům, stavebním inženýrům, ale zejména geodetům chce metodika přiblížit, co je z hlediska dokumentování historických staveb důležité a čím se práce v tomto kontextu odlišuje od práce v prostředí dnešní stavební produkce.
