The Proposal of Electrical Maintenance Downtime Elimination

This thesis is focused on description, analysis and minimization of downtime periods related to electricity maintenance activities. In theoretical part various kinds of wasting are described, which can happen during the work of electrician. In the plant Ventily the most faulty machines were found out from analysis of records and appropriate solutions were proposed. In addition to this consecutive company profits were evaluated.

Optimizing the Production Process to Increase Productivity

The diploma thesis deals with the optimization of the layout of the production line of the pre-assembly head in order to optimize the existing production process and its productivity. The theoretical part presents the theoretical knowledge gained by studying the literature focused on optimization of the workplace, lean manufacturing and project management. These findings are the basis for the analytical part, which describes the current state of the production line, including the analysis of the production process. In the following project part, a project for the optimization of the production line is developed.

Lean Management of a Selected Part of a Production System

The work is focused on improving the concept of lean management in a selected engineering company, where analyzes are performed with the help of selected methods and tools to reveal current problems. The data are then processed and based on them, measures for change are proposed with an emphasis on minimizing the rate of waste of time and costs and increasing production efficiency.

Application of Lean principles in the Manufacturing of Electromotors

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of the principles of lean production in a specific assembly hall, in the production of electric motors with an axial length over 153 cm. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of the meaning of lean production, its benefits, qualities and shortcomings. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of bottlenecks directly in production, calculation of downtime, and finding out the possibilities of their elimination. The proposal part offers a proposal to change the layout of workplaces, while in the economic part, this proposal is assessed in terms of investment.

The topic of my dissertation work is The Competition Analysis of company Stroje a Mechanismy, a.s. As the main goal, that I staked, is to gather as many relevant information as possible about the issue, closely analyze the company and compare it with their main competitors. I´ll try to suggest several tips how to improve the situation and how to increase competitiveness based on my competition analysis. I choose this topic, because I think that the one of the most important thing for modern company is to actively checking competitors, assimilate them, and always be a one step ahead, and as a delivery company could be an attractive partner for its customers.

Manufacturing capacity plan with support lean management

This diploma thesis deals with a production capacities planning supported by Lean management. It contains theoretical background to the issue, including an overview of relevant standards. The outcome of the work is an introduction of production capacity planning with certain elements of lean production in the family engineering microbusiness NTW s.r.o. in order to make business processes more effective.
