Communication of the release of a musical album on social networks

The bachelor thesis "Communication of the release of a musical album on social networks" deals, as the title itself suggests, with the issue of communication of musicians on social networks at the time of the release of their new album. For the purposes of the work, the author has chosen the most relevant social media for musicians - Facebook and Instagram. The theoretical part deals with two themes. The first is marketing communication - its definition, basic principles and description of the communication mix. One of the chapters gives an insight into the specifics of communication in the sphere of musical performers. The second theme of the theoretical part of this work is social networks. Besides definition and history, the author also focuses on their communication specialities, and in detail discusses two of the above-mentioned social networks. The practical part is divided into three chapters. The first of them deals with the general characteristics of three selected artists who released a new musical album in 2018. The fourth chapter overall analyzes their communication on Facebook and Instagram at the time of its release. The fifth chapter compares and summarizes analyzed communications. The bachelor thesis „Jiří Hlaváč in the changes of professions and genres‟ is dealing about the artistic activity of Professor Jiří Hlaváč. In this work I present his musical beginnings, interpretative activities and achievements in chamber ensembles such as the Barock Jazz Quintet. I also deal with his pedagogical, compositional, arranging, dramaturgical, publishing and popularization activities. Part of this work is dedicated to recordings, awards, programs for Czech Television and Czech Radio and work in artistic and music institutions.

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on Michaela Fukačová. She is a distinguished Czech cellist, living in Denmark. The thesis deals with her life, professional career and concerto performances. Furthermore, the work is focused on composers who have the greatest influence on the evolution of music in Denmark, including the temporary Danish composers whose work has enriched the cellist literature. Michaela Fukačová is a successful composer of these pieces. She participates in their publicity and integration into the world´s cellist repertory.

This thesis describes the interpretation of Bedřich Smetana piano works under the interpretation of Věra Řepková, Jan Novotný a Ivan Klánský, interprets who recorded the complete Smetana piano works in the course of the 20th century. Interpretation analysis focuses on the identification and description of the differences in the understanding and performance of the key and most played piano works.

This bachelor thesis is about David Oistrach, great violin virtuoso born in the beginning of 20th century and his achievements for Soviet violin music in 20th century. In this thesis I am writing about his life as well as about how the author was introduced to the interpreter of his music and their mutual influence, which in many cases has positive impact on the creation of his composition, which wouldn’t come into being if it wasn’t for David Oistrach. Included are also his record, some from concerts where David Oistrach had his openings. Thanks to his concerts these compositions became world-known and played.

Julia Fischer is today recognised as one of the world's leading interprets. At her young age she has already performed at all the famous concert halls over the world. She has collaborated with many renowned conductors and excellent musicians. In addition to her busy concert schedule Fischer's other prioritized occupations became teaching as well as professional solo piano and playing with a string quartet. Next to her professionaly successful life she manages to be a wife and a mother of two children. I would like to concentrate in my thesis on the period of her studies but also to all the important additional aspects of her musical career.
