frehabilitation of family end angered by transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction

The submitted diploma thesis is called: Rehabilitation of a family endangered by transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction. Alcohol addiction in the family is a very current topic, as it can have a significant impact on future generations of children who grew up with an alcohol addicted parent. The theoretical part deals with the issue of alcohol addiction and its impact on family functioning, psychological and social development of children and their functioning in adulthood. It also examines the causes and manifestations of transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction in the family, including how to prevent the risk of alcohol addiction in future generations. The aim of the empirical part is to answer the main research question through interviews: What is the personal experience of the current generation of offspring of alcohol addicted parents in creating their own family and how can the family prevent the risk of transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction to the next generation of offspring? From the research survey, we found that children who grew up in an alcoholic environment are affected to various degrees in adult life in all areas, because they have not experienced healthy parenting patterns in the family. This diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part and is realized through qualitative research, in the form of interviews with clients. Initially, the theoretical part deals with and explains the general facts that will help to more easily understand the whole issue. Here we find the concept of social work, social worker, prejudices against social workers and it also marginally deals with the ethics of social work. Family recovery of mothers inexperienced in raising a child

The diploma thesis engages in rehabilitation of families with inexperienced mothers, who are immature to handle the role of mother. Thesis is divided into six chapters, where five chapters are theoretical and one is practical. Theoretical part is focused on the term inexperienced mother in raising a child, family rehabilitation, types of threats for child, communication techniques used in rehabilitation of families and options of assistance. Practical part is based on findings from theoretical part and is accomplished in form of qualitative research, using the method of interviews with social workers from OSPOD. Utilization of Foster Care for Interim Period at Sanitation of Family

The thesis has a theoretical section and a practical section. The theoretical part defines the key concepts: family, dysfunctional family, family rehabilitation, social and legal child protection, social and legal child protection tools, substitute family care, and temporary foster care. The practical part analyses statistical data from the Regional Authority of the South Bohemian Region, Substitute Family Care Department, over the six years that temporary foster care has been provided by the Authority. It focuses on clients who returned to their biological families. The objective of the research is to identify and describe efficient tools for successful rehabilitation of children who have been placed in foster care in the South Bohemian Region.
Activities of the juvenile correction centre from the point of view of an officer in charge of youth at risk

The thesis focuses on the activity of an educational care centre as an institution which provides services for children who show negative signs in their behaviours and prone to develop behavioural disorders, as well as for their families. The centre also offers help to clients of a children and youth curator, whose role, as part of providing social and legal protection, is mentioned in the first chapter. In addition, attention is given to basic principles of a multidisciplinary cooperation and rehabilitation of a family. Another part describes the activity of the centre, an organisation providing preventive educational care for clients, and specific services of the centre. In the practical part the centre activity is portrayed by children and youth curators. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the benefits of the educational care centre from the point of view of an OSPOD (a government body for social and legal protection of children) employee and asses what opportunities the centre offers when preventing institutional care and as part of rehabilitation of a family with a child who has behavioural issues.
Social activation services and their ethical reflection

This thesis focuses on the explanation of the concept of social activation services for families with children and touches on the concept of family rehabilitation with which social activation services are associated. It also discusses frequent and less frequent questions and problems, which are deal with by this service and it explains how these problems arise. Using specialized literature and the experience of family support center staff, it characterizes specific work of social activation services, such as the program of the preparation for the return to family and to home, family rehabilitation inside the frame of preliminary measures, social work with families, who have the described problems and basic characteristics of multidisciplinary teams. The goal of this thesis is to critically reflect work of social activation services on the basis of some ethical principles and ethical codes of social workers, with the help of the Center of family support in Aš. Thanks to this reflection it is trying suggest possible ways of solving every day work of social activation services.
Improvement of the Family Life in the Czech Republic (Analysis of the situation Písecku)

Thesis deals with Improvement of the Family Life in the Czech Republic, mainly analyzes the situation in Pisek area. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the various chapters by literature relevant terms, such as family (functional, at risk), parenthood, family rehabilitation. Subsequently, explains the factors affecting the rehabilitation and aspects, working methods, cooperation with the family, an individual rehabilitation plan, cooperation with experts in the multidisciplinary team. Further described the current legislation and the transformation of care for vulnerable children in the CR. The practical part is devoted to mapping and description of organizations providing rehabilitation to families in Pisek area. The practical part was conducted qualitative research, which dealt with the form of work with clients, cooperation with other agencies and assess is needed for remediation. Respondents were employees of the research organization providing remediation. The practical part of the bachelor combines theoretical work.
