Design of Helium liquefaction cycle
Bártová, Jana ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The present master thesis deals with the technologies for gas liquefaction focused on helium. The first part of the thesis contains a description of the history of liquefaction, production and usage of liquid helium, as well as the principles of liquefaction and cooling cycles. In the following part of the thesis is a detailed model of the liquefaction cycle for which radial-axial turbine wheels were designed. The last part of the thesis contains financial analysis of the suitability of using the expander with eddy current brake and the expander with an electric generator.
Vacation property in stand-alone mode
Svoboda, Jan ; Martinec, Jiří (referee) ; Suk, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the supply of electricity for remote vacation property. It addresses the issue of how each technology of alone systems are applied to a particular object, as well as their financial page. At the end are technologies compared and the most suitable one is recommended.
The Conversion Efficiency of Different Kinds of Energy into Electrical Energy and the Possibility of its Accumulation
Ostruška, Jan ; Bartošík, Tomáš (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issues of the conversion efficiency of different kinds of energy into electric energy. Firstly, the thesis presents a brief introduction into types of energy sources and their capacity. Then, conversion efficiency of particular direct and indirect conversion is scrutinized, pointing to factors which affect conversion efficiency. The next chapter deals with the possibilities of accumulating electric energy. These are analysed as far as conversion efficiency is concerned as well and the end of the chapter concludes with comparison of these particular possibilities. Booth parts of the process – power generation and its accumulation – are connected in comprehensive scheme of energy conversions. The thesis develops on this scheme by mathematic description of its components and by designing a simulation programme, which would show the flow of energy in the scheme.
The Autonomous House or Living Grid-off
Chlebný, Radek ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with energy self-sufficiency focusing on the independence of the electric grid. Basic line emanating project form a concrete proposal for autonomous energy supply system. Emphasis is placed primarily on photovoltaic systems, electric energy accumulation and selection of individual components of such a system. Another important part of the thesis is also an economic evaluation of design variations. The thesis also deals with a market research, and thereof derived benefit assessment of each technology. The accompanying chapters are then devoted to the history of autonomous life style or classification of buildings according to their energy performance.

Ichtyofauna of selected streams of Bohemian Forest
ŠRÁMEK, Jiří
Presented work is directed to summarize the results of ochtyomonitoring of five stream in Bohemian Forest in autumn 2010. The processing status is evaluated fish communities, especially their species composition, diversity, dominance, evenness and other parameters. They have been evaluated also physico-chemical properties of the sites such as air and water temperature, conductivity and turbidity. Last but not least were evaluated the characteristics of flows and in particular morphological characteristics, types of the bottom substrate and its contours etc. The evaluation of all obtained data showed that fish communities surveyed Bohemian flows are balanced, they are not burdened with invasive species and rand indicators correlated with the state of flow, geographic location and natural conditions. It was caught nine fish species in the total number of 963 individuals. Abundance was at all locations in the range 201,6 to 409,7 individuals per kilometer of flow, showed the diversity of communities from 0,372093 to 2,166085 (Shannon and Wiener index) and from 0,301804 to 0,866948 (Simpson index), then evenness of plant 0,372093 to 0,783906. The most dominant species was the brown trout, the second most frequent species was bullhead.
Fish communities in streams PLA Jizera Mountains
JANOŠÍK, David
Flows in the PLA in the Jizera Mountains are unique for the occurrence of indigenous populations of brown trout (Salmo truta morpha fario) and several protected and endangered species of fish and cyclostomes. V 2 Mid-20th The situation for the acidification of the aquatic environment. As a result, stocks have almost disappeared fathead minnow (phoxinus phoxinus) and other indigenous fish. Another reason was the disruption ichtyocenosis fragmentation high flows associated with the construction of barriers to cross small hydro (MVE) and various degrees. Giant Mountains in the PLA was the main objective of checking the functionality of fish ladders, monitoring of fish migration and permeability. Furthermore Ichthyological surveys were conducted pre-selected sections of streams to determine the composition of the ichthyofauna. Was monitored and the success of reintroduction of certain species of fish, particularly fathead minnow in its original location. Were collected and physical and chemical properties of water.
