Analýza vybraných užitkových parametrů prasat v podmínkách ekologického chovu
Klementová, Kateřina
This work deals with the analysis of useful methods in organic pig farming, in the first parts there is a literature review of the topic, which presents the basic principles of organic pig farming - feeding, stables. The literary wish is characterized by the Přeštice black-spotted pig breed. The second part thesis consists of monitoring the farm itself, where the analysis of useful data of the Přeštice black pied pig breed. In this part of the diploma thesis, the data of reproductive performance of sows are analyzed and statistically evaluated, then the growth ability of pigs from birth to slaughter is statistically suitable. At the end of the work, the evaluated data are presented, it is further proved that this is a reduction of problems and other measures for the development of organic farms and organic pig farming on this farm.
Etologie prasat v konvenčním a alternativním chovu
Střelcová, Anna
The thesis deals with the domesticated pig. It involves it's history, ethological needs, expressions of intelligence and pathological phenomena when the animal's needs are not met. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the two basic methods of breeding of this farm animal, i.e. conventional breeding and ecological breeding. In order for the animal expressions in different methods of breeding to be compared, ethological observations were conducted and recorded in conventional breeding, ecological breeding and also in free-range breeding, where the conditions are most similar to those of wild boars. The observations are then compared and it is established, how well were the ethological needs of pigs met in each of the variety of breeding methods.

Péče o mláďata hospodářských zvířat v ekologickém chovu
Hledíková, Jana
This bachelor thesis deals with breeding of the young farm animals in organic farming. At first, the legislation related to the ecological system of farming is mentioned. Furthermore, objectives and rules of organic production follow. The principles of organic animal husbandry are described in more detail. The next part is devoted to specific types of farm animals, namely cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. The important aspects of rearing of the youngs, specifically housing, nutrition of females and youngs and weaning, are described in these livestock. Afterwards the comparison of organic and conventional farming system is made.

In the next part the thesis deals with the requirements for breeding livestock suitable for organic farming. Next part of the thesis is devoted to the description of selected breeds of cattle, sheep, goats and pigs suitable for organic farming.
Vliv bílkovinných koncentrátů na složení mléka u dojnic v ekologickém chovu
Botková, Kateřina
The aim of the thesis was to investigate the effect of the protein concentrate on milk quality. The attempt took place on an organic dairy farm with cows of Holstein breed, which was added to the ration a concentrate containing 60 % soybean cake, 20 % sunflower cake and 20 % linseed cake at 1 kg / head / day. The experiment lasted 30 days. Content of fat, protein, lactose, urea, free fatty acids, somatic cell count and the concentration of citric acid was determined in milk samples. Milk production was evaluated from the quantitative parameters. Addition of the concentrate had a positive effect on the fat content (P <0.05) and a decrease in free fatty acids (P <0.05). Production of urea which may be in excessive concentration dangerous for the health of dairy cows, was increased (P <0.05). Concentrate did not affect milk yield, protein content, lactose and somatic cell count. The content of citric acid was increased in the experimental and control groups (P <0.05). The results showed that the addition of protein concentrate can affect certain components of milk, but in case of inappropriate inclusion in the mix, there are health risks associated with excessive excretion of urea.
Effect of Housing on the Content of Microorganisms in Cow's Milk
Červíková, Martina ; Popelářová, Eva (advisor) ; Pechar, Radko (referee)
This thesis focuses on the influence cow housing on the content of microorganisms in raw cow's milk. During the three months of spring and summer season in 2015 was performed in regular 14 - day's intervals of 6 milk sampling, always from two cows in large-capacity cow house and from two cows in family farm. In all of the samples was determined the total quantity of microorganism, enterococcus and coliform bacterium in two settings. Setting an overall quantity of microorganism gives the final quality of milk. The limit for fresh milk is, according to legislation, 100 000 KTJ/ml. This limit was not fulfilled by the first cow from the family farm in no case of all the settings. Overlimited CPM was found during the third setting by samples from family farm and large-capacity cow house by all of cows, too. In other cases of setting were samples suitable. Setting enterococcus. For these days cancelled norm was setting the same amount as by the coliform bacterium, i.e. 1000 KTJ/ml. The limit fulfilled samples from large-capacity cow house as well as the private farm in 4 of 6 settings. Setting a quantity of coliform bacterium points to faecal pollution. The norm CSN 57 0529 stated the limit of 1000 KTJ/ml for coliform bacterium in raw milk; now it is not valid and was not replaced with new one. If it is still valid, this limit would be fulfilled in case of samples from private farm in 3 cases, in two others would cross the limit slightly and in the last setting the contamination is well over the limit. The effect of cow housing was proved, there were differences between individual samplings from the same cow house. The lowest values reached the 4th sampling, the highest values reached 3rd and 6th sampling. This could be effected by weather and abnormal high temperatures.
Využití fytoterapie v ekologickém chovu zvířat
Pásler, Adam
Phytotherapy or herbalismus is a alternative treatment of diseases of the use of synthetic drugs. The active ingredients of selected plants are scientifically and empirically proven effects on infectious and non-infectious diseases in humans and animals. At first this thesis deals with veterinary medicine in organic animal husbandry, legislation governing this issue and various alternative therapeutic methods. Next part deals with the herbal medicine in detail. There is explained the basic concepts of herbalism and biochemical composition of active plant substances. The main section of work is a collection of scientific papers dealing with the effect of phytotherapy on selected diseases of livestock, and a description of the most commonly used herbs. Final part of thesis mentions the available herbal products for animals.
