Debt collection from the economic point of view

The thesis deals with the issues of debt collection from the creditor's point of view. It first introduces the main concepts and specifies select principles which can increase the probability of not having to collect the debt in the first place. The key part of the thesis then covers the introduction of various methods of debt collection along with the analysis of their effectiveness for the creditor. Because of the highly individual nature of every debt, the final part of the thesis includes a brief guideline for different situations as well as several model examples and general principles which the creditor should adhere to when collecting problematic debt.

Entrance of the Czech Republic to the European union has expressive influence on increased demand for the building works, this is closely connected with designing activity that the company XY Ltd is dealing with. This is a huge advantage for the componies in the Czech Republic that are acting in this inudstry, because many new opportunities were created within the frame of the European union, and the Czech businessmen can obviously take advantage of that. The target of the bachelor´s work is to refer to the specific issue of the relationship between suppliers and consumers in context with the bookkeeping operations that company XY Ltd do for the purpose of the lead accounting. Another target of this work is to analyse active debts and liabilities on the basis of the given information, to resolve bookkeeping operations and to suggest methods of the debt collection that form the biggest problem that the company XY Ltd is currently facing to.
Collection of the debts out of consumer credits

The Bachelor thesis describes the whole process of collection of debts from the first day of the debtor's delay with paying-off, risk loan origination and running of out-of-court collection in the bank to eventual collection in the execution proceedings, whereas the main part of the thesis has been focused on the judicial proceedings. The thesis practically describes especially the real procedures used in solving risky and hardly enforceable debts in the banks as well as by collection and law offices specialized for this type of work, and also explains the relations between these subjects. The reader should understand, why the sides are acting in particular situations in the described way and not differently. This thesis has been written to be used as a practical manual for banks, collection offices and their employees or potential creditors, who are interested in buying some claimes. The possible debtors on the other hand can get to know some methods, which could be applied to minimalize the negative results connected with their financial shortcoming and unability to pay.

The Analysis of Function of Executors in the Czech Republic

The priority of the thesis is to evaluate economic reason for the existence of executors in comparison with current institute of state bailiffs. The thesis further analyzes the powers of executors and their potential misuse in the execution process. Last but not least, the state regulations of this institute are described. The goal is to use general economic theory to find out the effective way of protecting creditor's rights.
The protection of property rights in the Czech Republic: public judicial system versus private alternatives

This diploma thesis focuses on relation between state and private system of debt collection. The first part of this paper briefly describes traditional role of the government in general and deals with question if it is possible to establish competition into the justice. The second part describes and analyzes four different systems of debt collection in the Czech Republic -- execution procedure by public judicial system, by judicial officer (for-profit alternative), by arbitration court and by collection agency. In this part there are also described mechanisms of how four different systems work. The analysis of efficiency of four systems arises from comparison different motivation and mechanism used by representatives of systems. The aim of this paper is to monitor present condition in the market of debt collection in the Czech Republic and to demonstrate if the protection of property rights changed by the entrance of non-state alternatives.
